## Overview

The Norpro Deluxe Stainless Steel Baster is a professional-grade kitchen tool designed for perfect basting and flavor injection. Measuring 11 inches with a 1.5oz capacity, it features a heat-resistant silicone bulb that withstands up to 450°F, a stainless steel injector needle for infusing juices, and a cleaning brush for easy maintenance. Ideal for grilling and roasting, it ensures your meats stay moist, flavorful, and golden brown every time.

## Description

Measures: 11" x 2" x 2" / 28cm x 5cm x 5cm. Capacity: 1.5oz / 45ml. Prior to baking or grilling, attach the needle included to inject and infuse flavorful juices into your roasts and cuts of meat. The secret to beautiful and flavorful roasts and grilling meats, served moist and golden brown, is basting. This tool creates powerful suction. Squeeze the bulb head, place tip of baster into the succulent juices in the pan, melted butter, a marinade or homemade sauce, release bulb head to draw up the sauce and pour out over your meat. Repeat every half hour or when grilling every 15 minutes. For best results, run the baster under hot water before basting, so the temperature of the baster will be warm. Remove roast from oven while basting and keep oven door closed. Baste quickly. This will keep the temperature of your oven from dropping. Silicone bulb heat resistant to 450˚F/230˚C. Stainless steel flavor injecting needle and cleaning brush included. Norpro was founded in 1973 with a vision to design, manufacture, and supply the highest caliber kitchenware. Review: Excellent Kitchen Aid ! - I used it this past weekend roasting a joint of beef and the results were great !. The black suction cap is powerful and stays put very well to the aluminium pipe, so I didn't have any problems with juices spraying from the cap. I agree with other reviews that you don't have visibility of how much liquid goes into the pipe, but the amount of liquid sucked into the pipe was plenty to baste away or to be injected back around the joint. The needle has the right diameter, and once it gets attached, also it did not get detached when applying pressure and injecting into the joint. The pipe does not get extremmely hot, nevertheless do take your precautions. The suction cap does not get hot when some liquid might go there. Well made, quality, durable, easy to clean, delivered well before the given estimated date (considering it's sent from the USA) ... yes, very pleased with this product.
Review: Really good - Previously I have used plastic basters but found that eventually they always split apart. This item is durable and thus far has been a great asset in the kitchen. Cleaning is really simple if you make sure you coat the brush in washing up liquid to scrub the inside it really helps. With our without the 'juice injector' attachment the item works really well, the injector is really good although I would advise caution to squeeze gently when using this as it can splash back if used too roughly. All in all very good item, well worth them money and arrived in excellent time.
