I make compost tea, but don't have a composter. I use this for my compost tea. I love how this works and it makes great tea. 10 lbs will make a lot of tea as I only use a cup a time. It works well and I love it.

This stuff works for sure and love that it can used on seedlings as well!

The product was excellent, but the packaging was horrible. They put two bags of dirt in a big box with several other items I had ordered including supplements. They should have known that loosly packing soil in a big box would result in the bags being banged around in shipping/transport, possibly bursting them, which it did. I had dirt all over my other items including my medicines. I was appalled upon fully opening the box which was busting at its seems and leaking dirt already.

Garden plants are noticeably happier with a serving of this. I've been top-dressing vegetables and herbs with this when I notice growth is slowing down. Even though n-p-k numbers aren't high it does really seem to green things up, and it doesn't "burn" so it's been okay to use in hot weather. I also add a couple of cups to my potting mix for "heavy feeder" container plants like tomatoes. Very minimal smell, especially compared to other organic alternatives like manure. It smells more "earthy" than "poopy."
