Our apartment's 5G signal is not powerful and when I set the settings as "5G preferred" the router performance was very poor and I was very close to return it and cancel my wireless internet subscription. However, after changing the settings as "4G only" the internet became much more stable. I am not getting full speed of 5G but at least I am getting stable 4G+ internet and it is OK for us. Overall, it is doing not bad. If you have strong 5G signals, it will do even better job.

I recently purchased the TP-Link Deco X50 and I’m extremely impressed. I'm using it with my Virgin Home Internet SIM card, and it consistently delivers stable speeds of 650-700 Mbps — way better than what I used to get! Great value for money and a noticeable upgrade in performance.

The device became faulty after 14 months, and there was no way to contact the manufacturer to claim the warranty. Amazon also refused to assist or issue a refund. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience—poor product quality, lack of support, and unsatisfactory service from Amazon.

Installé il y a un mois, Ce routeur s'est révélé fiable et beaucoup plus rapide que on routeur 4G précédent. Le signal 5G dans mon logement étant décent, je n'ai pas mis encore d'antenne extérieure. Ce qui semble facile , à condition de choisir l'antenne avec les bons connecteurs. PLUS +Installation facile +Réception 5G correcte +Stable. Pas eu besoin de le rebooter en un mois +Signal WiFi assez puissant, je n'ai pas eu besoin de remettre mes répéteurs WiFi, réduisant d'autant la conso électrique. Le routeur est placé à l'étage du milieu d'une maison avec 3 niveaux +Application pour téléphone efficace, mais simplifiée (trop?) MOINS, aucun vraiment bloquant - Le mesh ne fonctionne qu'avec certains modèles déco de TP-Link, au cas où vous voudriez étendre votre réseau - un peu cher (400€), sauf si vous profitez d'une remise flash ou autre - trouver un emplacement idéal pour le routeur n'est pas évident. L'app donnant une puissance de signal 5G avec 6 niveaux (0%, 20%, 40%...) Et mis à jour avec un délai - pas de contrôle parental

Hasta ahora estaba usando un MR200 de la misma marca, router 4g. La velocidad de descarga era de 20-30 mb y la cobertura habitual del 50% según el router. Cada dos por tres se perdia la conexion 4g y tenia que desenchufar y volver a enchufar. Todo lo achacaba a que en la zona en la que vivo la cobertura era mala. Sin embargo, con este X50-5G es todo lo contrario. Desde que lo instalé por primera vez y ubicándolo en el mismo sitio que en el anterior router, cero desconexiones de red. Aunque tiene para conectar antenas externas, las internas que lleva parecen de calidad puesto que siempre que consulto la cobertura me da 80% de cobertura 5G (sabiendo que en la zona en la que estoy y tomando de referencia mi iphone la cobertura 5G es escasa). A nivel de WIFI mucho mejor que mi anterior router. Vivo en una casa de 2 plantas y ahora llega la señal mucho mejor. Finalmente, tema velocidades, he pasado a velocidades constantes de ente 500-600 mb. Solo un aspecto a comentar, y es que al principio los primeros dias el router soltaba un ligero olor a quemado, no exagerado, pero si te acercabas olia. Sin embargo con el paso de los dias ha acabado desapareciendo, supongo que al ser un producto nuevo.
