Fired right up after install, quicker and cheaper than using my home warranty plan. Many tutorials on YouTube to help you do it

be very cautious
caution with this item- it came as planned - installed - pilot light came back on but kept cutting off and I had to call service man - he showed that the thermocouple sensor at the end was glowing red and not functioning properly - could be an issue particularly with a gas device -it may have been just a problem with this device but I would hesitate to replace with the same onealso the gas company sent a man out who confirmed

Thermocouple did not last
Kept on having issue with the setup shutting off the gas, but sometimes it last for weeks. Sometimes only days. Finally had someone come out and check everything and told us that the thermocouple was the issue due to bad connection. If course the return period from Amazon ended a week ago. So much for the parts lasting. Guess cheap part just doesn't last as long
