Bright light and quiet fan. Easy to use and high quality. It’s a good value for the price and I love how it can be moved from spot to spot. It works well to remove the fumes from the glue I use to craft with.

I'm blown away with how well built this is and how well it works. I am so used to getting absolute junk off of Amazon lately with all these no-name brands. I had heard of SainSmart before because I used some of their pre-made 8 channel relay boards for a Christmas light project and they worked well. I was not expecting to get something that is all-metal, sturdy, bright, and does an excellent job of sucking up smoke. Even the magnet on this thing is crazy strong, I accidentally stuck it to something metal on my desk and had to use 2 hands to slowly pull it off. All in all this is one of those products that really is worth every penny. Note that even though it has excellent airflow, there are physical limitations on how far the suction can "reach". You will need to move the fan as close to the soldering as you can for it to work best.

Great soldering fan with lighting. The reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because I was expecting a bit more suction. The carbon filter which is needed reduces the air flow and as long as you keep the fan 6 inches from your work it does great. The goose neck is strong and holds its position well, the lighting is adjustable and bright, it comes with a clamp and a very good magnet base, and the cord is plenty long enough. I would definitely recommend this fan/light for soldering.

Ease of use, functionality, brightness

It has to sit close to my board to work properly but it’s been great for when I burn super dark. Would recommend to any pyrography artist to draw smoke away.

This compact device does an excellent job of removing fumes and keeping the workspace air clean and safe. The fan is easily adjustable, allowing me to position it exactly where needed. The portability is a huge plus, making it easy to move around or store when not in use. Overall, this fume extractor fan is an essential tool that greatly improves the soldering experience. Highly recommended!

The fume extractor works great for stained glass soldering. The light is helpful during the grinding process.My only complaints are: even on the highest setting the light could be brighter. The clamp seems to loosen over time. I’m not sure if that’s because of the quality of the product or because the table edges are slightly curved.I bought this when there was a $10 coupon available. I don’t know if this product is worth the full price.

+ tolles, helles Licht - dimmbar - drei Farbtemperaturen auswählbar.+ Gebläse nicht so leise wie moderne PC-Lüfter sondern eher wie ein herkömmlicher Zimmer-Ventilator. Dafür saugt es aus 15-20 cm den Löt-Qualm ab und der Filter macht seine Arbeit ordentlich. (und wenn man nicht lötet, schaltet man den Ventilator doch sowieso aus.)+ der Schalter am Kabel ist durch die blaue LED leicht 'aus den Augenwinkeln' zu finden, wenn man mit Lupe und heißem Lötgerät über der Platine sitzt!+ sehr starker Magnetfuß+ sehr solider Schwanenhals - bleibt in der Position, in die man ihn gedrückt hat.Ist kein Schnäppchen aber den Preis wirklich Wert!

Very good fan, not too loud and has good sucking power.The light is a nice addition, it has 3 warmth settings and can go very bright but also quite dim.The desk clamp and magnetic holder do there job well, the addition of a few extra filters is nice too.Bit on the pricey side, but I would say its worth it if you plan to use it often.

L'aspiratore fa' il suo lavoro onestamente, dispone di un'ottima illuminazione e di un braccio stabile.Io lo uso per aspirare i fumi della saldatura di componenti elettronici, e l'ho comprato per essere poi associato a un' aspiratore esterno: a me serviva un'aspiratore locale (vicino alla zona di saldatura) che mi potesse illuminare la zona e che avesse un braccio stabile e poco ingombrante (evitando quelli a pantografo).Usato indipendentemente ha una capacità di aspirazione limitata e deve essere posizionato molto vicino alla zona di saldatura.Il filtro fa il suo lavoro ma non si può prendere di eliminare completamente le sostanze nocive ed è per questo che io lo uso con un aspiratore esterno.Il costo non è proprio basso ma non ci sono alternative più economiche, anche ipotizzando di auto costruirselo.In definitiva lo consiglio per applicazioni hobbistiche.

Points positifs :- la filtration de fumée fonctionne bien- la lumière est un vrai plus- lumière réglable en intensité et en "chaleur" d'éclairage (froid, chaud, mix)- petite télécommande sur le fil pour régler la lumière et/ou la ventilation- support aimanté ou avec une pince étaux- bras flexible pour être placé comme vous le souhaité !!! même avec l'aimant qui est assez puissant !Points négatifs :- le bras flexible semble un peu fragile a sa base ... a voir avec le temps- ventilation un peu faible je trouve , mais suffisante !Ok pour moi ! Je recommande !
