So, I bought this because I am lactose intolerant and still wanted a "creamer" for my chai and matcha teas on occasion. I don't drink enough "milk" to warrant buying a whole carton or opening a can and letting it go to waste in the fridge. This tastes really good, but it does not dissolve perfectly without leaving a couple lumps, so I recommend "sifting" it before use. Since I do the same with my matcha tea, when preparing, this is no issue for me. It has a light coconut flavor and slight oiliness (from the natural coconut oil, I'd imagine). I love the taste! Just slight coconut, but not overwhelming or dominant. I also chose this brand, because there are no added sugars or other things. It is just coconut milk powder. As a diabetic or if you are keto, this is important. It is great in my creamy soup recipes, too.

4/26/25: update. I’ve been watching for the product to come back out without the TMD. It hasn’t. I reached out to the company directly to tell them of my dissatisfaction and disappointment in their compromised offering. Their direct response was: “We apologize that we're not able to offer a starch-free coconut milk powder at this time, but will certainly keep looking. We do have many people who love the coconut milk powder and are okay with the starch, so we don't have any plans to discontinue it at this time.” What? For reals? You can’t find a pure product so since people will buy this, we’ll continue to sell it. That says a lot about the integrity of the company as a whole, IMO. They’re willing to compromise, because it makes money. Well, vote with your dollars people. That’s all you’ve got. 11/27/24 update: On my third or fourth time ordering, the product ingredients have changed. It is NO LONGER the clean pure product I fell in love with. WHY!!!!!!! Why did they have to now include tapioca maltodextrin???? It’s the exact thing I researched to get away from. I’m so so disappointed. It’s like they made a great product and have enough followers now to get greedy and cut the product with less nutritious and less expensive ingredients. It’s beyond the date to return, but I will be contacting the seller to inquire about this change, and request that they make the original product available again. Yes, it's clumpy!!! and if you want a coconut milk powder without all the flowing agents and anti caking agents, you should expect clumps. This is very VERY easy to overcome. I make tea every day. I put 2 tbs of coconut milk in my cup, and add about 1/3 cup of water. Use a milk frother to blend the clumps up, and Whoala, you have a perfectly smooth cup of coconut milk ready for a tea bag. I am now on my 3rd bag of this product. I love it. Now that I've found it I can stop researching and just enjoy this delicious taste that has not fillers or additives. I keep this at work so I can make a hot chai on the spot, no worries about refrigeration. It does make some fluffy little clumps at first, but as it is stirred it melts in, sort of how mini marshmallows behave. You end up with a nice milky colored drink and a thin creamy layer on top, that has shine from a little coconut oil to it. Very nice mouth feel to drink, and while you know it's coconut oil if you lick your lips, it's not overpowering the tea flavor or smell. (Also kind of a sub for chapstick while drinking because of that, added bonus.) 😋 A high quality pantry stable ingredient, better price than similar brands, and I appreciate the package design (stays closed perfectly when zip locked) and the labeling. Some creamer alternatives tried to market nutrition facts per tsp, but then recommend tblsp in their usage ideas. The tblsp serving size on this bag is accurate for a cup of tea, so it would be easy to add to a diet tracker if desired.

Perfect healthy alternative to coffee creamer, just necessary ingredients, great taste, and as a bonus, mental comfort knowing I am doing 1 more important thing for my health by avoiding the additives in traditional creamer! (Have you read that label? Yikes!) And by using pure maple syrup as my flavoring it's not just coffee, it's super coffee! I also use 1 tsp coconut oil for hormone balancing which is surprisingly rich. Next up: buying organic grounds.

I like the taste that adds a little sweetness to my coffee (then I add more plant-based sugar substitute for more sweetness). On first use there were little lumps floating in my coffee which others had said occurred. So now I put my coconut powder into my cup first and dilute it with a little water and stir like crazy to dissolve the powder, add my sugar substitute, pour in my coffee, and enjoy a flavorful cup of coffee. I will add that I only use a Tbl. of the coconut powder because I don’t want to add any more calories; so it is a little dark for my choosing. If you want your coffee more creamy (like I do), and can afford the calories, use more coconut powder! I'm not sure if I'll buy it again because it does contain corn which I'm not to have!! All in all, it is a great product. I love the fact that it doesn't spoil like the liquid does so quickly!

What I like so much about this powder is the fact that it has no filler. Sometimes I just tossed some in my mouth and my body temperature melts it instantly. It does not dissolve well in cold beverage but in hot drinks. Its normal, It has no filler. Great taste. I will keep buying it over and over. Its hard to find something similar with no fillers. I hope it will be a little cheaper in the future.
