Strong and fun..
I bought a red and tan one for my son's, 9&10, Christmas gifts and they have taken them through lots of different terrain, roll down rocky hills and try to knock each other over.. they are rough with them.. they lost the side mirrors, windshield wipers and cracked the windows, put they still run strong.. batteries last a good amount as well...

Great little Landcruiser
Use to have a Landcruiser years ago, loved that vehicle. When I saw this, I had to have it. Looks great when playing with it and on the shelf when not in use.

SUPER REALISTIC LOOKING
This RC car is very cool and looks very realistic. You can customize this RC car with the parts that it came with. You can design with stickers and bumpers and snorkel and and roof racks.

Get an upgraded motor and some weights....
I am a Land Cruiser enthusiast with two 1/12 scale Cruisers. This thing is the same size, but it comes with much bigger tires. I was pretty excited to add to my fleet. I knew the motor would be weak but I did not realize how weak it would be. The motor is geared high, this is a single speed, and there are many obstacles that I should have been able to crawl up but the motor was just too weak. And that is if the thing did not just roll off the obstacle. This thing tips if you look at it wrong, especially compared to my MN82 and my FMS45. After I put weights on it the motor completely gave out while driving up a 20-degree ramp. If you are looking for a budget RC Crawler, get something else. If you are a Land Cruiser enthusiast and you already have the MN82, buy an upgraded motor and some weights, otherwise, you will not have fun with this rig. I do like the body though.

Looks aren't everything
This is a WPL C54-1 not Spobot. This company has put out multiple models all of which look great. Their detail is really good. Their quality is not so much. On every one of their previous models I've owned the electronics work for a day or two. Their gears and plastic parts last another day. Perhaps this one will last longer but I doubt it. The listing shows it driving through water. If this goes through any water it will no last. If you lift the hood you can see an exposed circuit board. It also says it is a crawler. The tires are so hard this thing couldn't crawl on anything. The shocks look great but are so springy it just bounces all over. A couple of nice things though, it comes with two batteries and a charger. It also comes with a spare tire and lots of plastic body bits to add to the realism. It has working head lights but no tail lights. The motor pushes it along pretty well but can be noisy. The gears are metal but none of the rest of the drive train is. The wheels have plastic bushings and cups. It does have proportional speed and steering which is an upgrade from previous WPL versions. If I had thought for a second that this was actually a WPL product I would not have ordered it. I'm sending it back before anything breaks.

Fun rig
This is a super scale little crawling rig, comes with a ton of things to put on it to make it a scale overland style crawler. The hardbody is super nice but it has the usual WPL style quality, if you want to take it out and beat on the rocks you are going to need to glue the tires to the wheels and just be mindful not to get it hung up, these smaller trucks dont have the same durability as their larger counterparts.

1/16th WPL C54-1, but with better features
Okay, most of this RC drive train is plastic as well as the bushings rather than bearings. I got this for my daughter and it works pretty well. I can easily tow it with my 1/10th crawler to get it out of jams if needed. This truck has really hard tires which I plan on replacing in the near future. Has proportional steering and that works well. This isn't a great RC, but it is above toy grade. I would consider this at the low end of the hobby grade stuff, but the greatest thing is, that I can slowly upgrade this as needed, over time for her, and it would still cost me less then a high end rig super rig. For starters that follow along on a trail with you I think this model serves a really great purpose. I would not tear this in water as the electronics don't seem they will be able to last that.
