Great recipes foundations
I originally wanted to return this. I felt like there wasn't all that much in there for me and I already have over 150 cook books and didn't need the clatter. Well I have a friend whose obsessed with biscoff and I made the staffed cookies for her and everyone loved them. I tried a couple more recipes and they're super solid and good. I then proceeded to realize that I was prejudiced and I could use the base recipes to do whatever I wanted and now this is an "every cookie lover must have this" book in my opinion.

Beautiful book!
..but thats about it. theres only 27 recipes in this 159 page book, thats only 17% of the book. for comparison; i have another baking book around a similar thickness, with a full page pictures and gorgeously spaced graphic design for each recipe and it has 113 recipes out of 252 pages (45%).this book has gorgeous graphic design but most of the pages are wasted on empty space, filler recipes (the entire ‘leftover cookies section including a two page spread for a ‘cookie sandwich’ recipe that says to sandwich together two cookies with some dulce de leches.. picture attached if you don't believe me.) , multiple advice pages, and the author yapping on about her cookie business..to be fair, the recipes that ARE there do look promising and tasty but there isnt that much variety, as they're all essentially variations of the classic chocolate chip cookie (albeit in quite creative ways).im convinced this was designed to be a coffee table book with how little content it actually contains.TL;DR wouldn't recommend as a cook book/recipe book.. but its a nice, sturdy book thats cute to flip through and have somewhere as decoration.. and occasionally you can pull it out to make one of 27 banging cookie recipes (i suppose).
