Street Fighter II 6" Chun Li Figure Action Figure, Toys for Kids and Adults

Jada Toys, originally a die-cast car company, has dipped their toes into the 1/12 scale action figure world with their latest Street Fighter II line. Chun-Li, one of the more iconic and recognizable characters from the series, is probably the best release of the initial wave that was released (Ryu and Ken being the others). The aesthetic of the character is brilliantly adapted into the size that Jada Toys went with and should be an industry standard in how video game characters are translated into toys. The articulation of the figure allows Chun-Li to do any move that she can be seen doing in the video games that is complemented with the kicking after-effect accessory that was included with her. There's an alternate head for a different expression if consumers want to use it along with palming hands to replicate other moves that she does in the video games. It's a great release that blows the competitors out the water and is a worthy addition to anyone's Street Fighter or action figure collection.

Jada Toys' Street Fighter line has been one of the best toy lines in recent years. At $25 (a criminally low price) you get the best figures with the best paint and pose ability at this price point. Chun Li here comes with an alternate head, alternate set of chopping hands, an effects part for her kick, and an effect stand. Some companies, like S.H Figuarts' Dragon Ball line, don't even come with an effect for their Goku figures, and their figures are $10 more! The paint is applied beautifully, with zero paint blemishes. The articulation on her is fantastic; she's able to crunch the torso forward and back, as well as able to kick the legs all the way forward, backward, and out. You can recreate any of Chun Li's iconic moves from the games. The only lacking articulation is toe joints and butterfly joints for the shoulders, however it's excusable at this price. Hasbro has reused their Marvel Legends molds for years, and none of them can even come close to the articulation this figure boasts. Not to mention Hasbro has numerous QC issues, and their figures have skyrocketed in price due to inflation. Jada is keeping it cheap and including the most they can for $25. I couldn't have asked for more. I would gladly pay an extra $10 for some more heads, hands, an extra effect part, and some toe joints. My only real complaint is that her face is a little too round and bloated. Her face is painted well, just the face shape is a little round. Get this figure now, even if you're not a huge Street Fighter fan. It is well worth the price of admission, and then some.
