Our tortoise seems to like the feel of this covering. It holds in the warmth from the heat lamp too. The only downside, it’s a little difficult to clean. We couldn’t get the dark color out after washing.

Well I am not sure about this.. 1. I’m not sure how safe this is as it is very spiky. Just unfolding it I pricked my finger and it went pretty deep and split my finger open..small but makes me worry it may hurt my beardie. He seems to like it but I will be getting other substrate asap 2. It comes horribly creased and I cannot get it to stay flat even with heavy rocks on it. 3. It was too big even though I order the correct size. I seen posts on how easy it is to cut and that was just not my experience. I really want to like this as it’s a good price but not sure of the risk it could pose to my beardies health. Won’t be buying again and will repurpose the remaining two for maybe some outside rugs.

I opened up one of the coconut rug things, and there was a shard of barbed metal in it. It’s about an inch long.
