I bought this for my granddaughter and she loved it. Her creativity came out when designing the inside of the terrarium and she had so much fun building it. When it was down it looked so beautiful. She was so proud of herself having built it on her own. It was incredibly easy and the colored kinetic sand allowed the objects to stick in and hold in place. I worried that the jar was glass but I knew that it wasn't going to be eye level for her so that wasn't an issue. I would give this a 100% grade for quality. I love the different modes and last night she had it on the rotating colors. I love that it has 30 minute and 60 minute timer....just long enough for her to fall asleep. I've had this on for approximately two weeks all night and the batteries are still going strong. Great price for this create your own nightlight.

Wonderful product. My 4-year-old granddaughter and I arranged the items and put the light in it and the light was bright and very colorful. She loved it. We had a great time with it.

I bought this as a gift for my 7 year old grandson. It didn’t take long for him to assemble and when we came to adding the batteries for the light, it transformed into an awesome nightlight. With the included remote, he was able to change the colors and highlight the terrarium. He absolutely loved it loves it and I was also very impressed. Would highly recommend recommend!

One of the BEST gifts my daughter has ever received!! EXCELLENT quality, generous variety and amount of parts, great design in the night light part!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🦄 🌈 🌳 🏰 PERFECT for her 9th Birthday this week, but would work well for any little girl!! If you have a calm 4 year old up to a more tender hearted 11 year old. I haven’t checked the options, but if they aren’t making boy options they MUST get on that immediately!!! 🐉 🦖🐠🪸🎪🚗 I placed a lot of hope on this gift being perfect and this company did not disappoint!! We’re having an incredibly hard Christmas season. On top of that, daughter had the bad luck of being born on December 22, 2015 so wayyy to close to Christmas. As a single mom this only adds more pressure to make her birthday special in the midst of an already busy gift filled time of the year. It takes a good amount of effort to insure her birthday isn’t just blended into her memories of Christmas gifts. On top of this, I’m not only on bedrest, but just pulled out of homelessness. I have zero physical stamina and very little money to pull this all off. I spent hours shopping online and decided to make this gift her “special” one. Whomever makes this, THANK YOU SO MUCH for not just pumping out some crappy item to make a profit. There are a lot of ways you could have been cheap here and you didn’t fail on in any way!! This was a bigger hit than the year we got her a whole Barbie house!!! I bought mine at $29, but it could have been $35 and still sold well, just not within what we could afford. So, thank you for pricing it generously considering the amount of pieces and designing this took. My sweet girl still believes in Santa and gave me a list 72 items long that she wanted. So much of it seemed like heavily marketed items not worth the money in the long run. I did not choose this as the big gift without really researching the reviews etc. My daughter won an award for her art work in school so creativity is VERY important in her life. But, I wanted something that would also enrich her daily living. It was between this and the popular slime into water to make floppy art thing that’s viral everywhere. THIS seemed to have a much longer lifespan. These creative kits marketed to little girls can often be a total gimmicky. I walked past a wall of them at Walmart and had flashbacks of my older kids being disappointed that the boxes are often mostly filled with cardboard and what pieces you get are either crappy or don’t make what they claims it makes. On top of that, we are quick to return an item if it doesn’t feel valuable to our lives and worth the price. I can say confidently that this is one gift that will not only be kept forever, but will sit proudly on her nightstand building memories for years!! Money can not buy the amount of relief that comes seeing her elated over her gift. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but am doing this out of my sincere gratitude and compassion for other families looking for something special for their grandchild, niece, daughter, etc.🥹🫡 Whomever designed this and decided on what parts to include did an INCREDIBLE job!! It looks like there is some variable in the parts each kit might come with. We received 3 bags of kinetic type sand, an adorable momma&baby unicorn/pegasus type set, a tree, star shaped gems, pastel foam bubbles, an under water looking plant like an aquarium would have, pink mossy stuff, a rainbow, a castle, two balloons and two mushrooms!! We didn’t get a little bunny or the fence, but don’t care for them anyways. Maybe they’ve upgraded the ingredients they include this season? Image that, a company that increases the value of the product in this economy! This kit is very generously supplied, my daughter even saved a couple of the decor items to make another fairy garden. Nothing came broken and is all solid quality. I greatly appreciate that they didn’t use loose beach sand so there was zero mess. My daughter blended all the colors of the sand to make a sort of rainbow swirl, very pretty!! I wrapped the wire on the mushrooms and balloons around a pen to make a sort of coil stand she could press down into the sand really good for stability and would recommend you do the same. You do need to provide 3 AAA batteries for the light itself that was perfectly designed to secure very nicely inside of the cork lid. The remote is well designed BUT comes with a button battery so PLEASE BE CAREFUL with little ones!! Her little brother has ADHD and only recently became safe around very dangerous items like button batteries. I put a piece of duct tape over the clasp on the remote to make sure the battery isn’t easily accessible. (PLEASE consider doing the same and keeping the remote up safely away if you have a little one in your home at any time that might put them in their mouth. RIP Reese Hamsmith, and the dozens of children killed yearly by this most insidiously dangerous way of sustaining internal|organ injury.) In addition to allowing a dozen options in the color of the light to select from at any moment, one thing I greatly appreciate is that the remote has both a one hour and a 1/2 hour timer setting you can select to save on battery usage. It’s actually hard to find LED lights and decorative night lights with timers. And, while some might prefer plastic, I really like that the dome is made out of a good quality glass. The shine and heaviness created by the glass is a big selling point. I would not have purchased it and risked the plastic just getting scratched up through the years. Putting this together was easy, left zero mess, and took about 25 minutes so a perfect little project. But, she’s been rearranging it now for the last hour so I have a feeling it will give her hours of hands on crafting time over the coming years. I guarantee that as she gets older she will redo this thing for holidays or to reflect more mature interests. It would cool be to place a photo inside of it using one of those plastic frames they sell to put photos on the fridge. I have ZERO complaints and only one suggestion: If this company sold this lighted dome without the(female specific, adolescent style)parts to go inside of it I would gladly buy them for my friends and family as well. My adult daughters have miniature Breyer horses that would fit perfectly inside of these, but would want normal colored sand and trees. Most of the items marketed to make fairy gardens probably fit inside of here, too! If the company came up with different shapes, sizes and a way to hang them on the wall I bet they could find a good demographic of GenZ using them to decorate their homes.
