Small Profile CarPlay Adapter
The Hodozzy Wireless CarPlay Adapter 2023 Pro Edition is a small form factor USB dongle which connects through your car's USB port to seamlessly connect to CarPlay in those cars which have the Apple system factory installed. The package comes with both USB-B and USB-C connectors to the car's system and an instruction book. Connecting the system to the car was rather easy consisting of plugging it in, matching it to your car's system and then pairing it to your iPhone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi systems.Connecting to the adapter when you get into the car is seamless and automatic if not instantaneous - it can, albeit infrequently, take as much as a minute before the car attaches to the phone and then the adapter takes over changing the connection over to car play. Once connected it is stable without any of the app problems that have been reported and experienced with other adapters.While the Adapter can be paired with more than one iPhone, if more than one of those phones are in the car at the same time it can only connect to one of them at any given time. When my wife and I were in the car and we wanted to switch the adapter from my phone to hers it required my manually disconnecting my wifi and bluetooth connections to the dongle and then manually connecting hers.While the instructions are sparse on how the connection to the car and then the phone are set up the process goes rather smoothly so there is not much issue with that part off the instructions. On the other hand the instructions have a section on "Version Update Description" which are rather incomprehensible and I have opted to not bother with updating the version on the theory of "if it works don't mess with it."Overall the Hodozzy Wireless CarPlay Adapter 2023 Pro Edition is an easy to install and use system to have automatic connection to Apple CarPlay. The small form factor allows the adapter to fit/hide in tight spaces which is helpful in that the adapter does not encroach on my car's wireless charging system. Given all the above, I would rate the Hodozzy Wireless CarPlay Adapter 2023 Pro Edition as a soft 4 star product.

Works great
This is the smallest, least expensive wireless car adapter that I’ve seen anywhere. Directions will tell you to update before you plug it into your car. I’m not sure that’s necessary but it’s easy enough. Plug the unit into an open USB port on your laptop or desktop computer to power up the connector. On your phone connect the WI-FI and Bluetooth to the CarPlay Box. On your phone go to 192.168.2.1 and update to the latest version.Next plug it into the media USB in your car, give it a few seconds and you’re done. It automatically connects when you start your car. Works great for me.
