Amazing camera for the money
For the price of this camera, I was not expecting much out of it but it has genuinely surprised me. Device was very easy to set up and the app is pretty straight forward on how to use. Device detects motion very well and has followed without issues. Image quality is great for both day and night and the alarm is quite loud to scare someone off. As far as range goes, the WiFi router is upstairs and the camera is down stairs but have not had any connectivity issues. We also have ADT cameras but this camera pulls up much faster in the app and does not require as good of a phone signal to load. I have the camera set up on the porch and it has been in 112 degree temps and durability wise is holding up. No need to contact customer support so I am not sure how responsive they are but I will keep this review updated with my experience.

Pretty impressive and a good price
I used to have a blink camera and had so many problems connecting it and reconnecting it to my WiFi and app. It also went off and would send me notifications all day. So I got this to replace my blink. This product and app is much easier to manage than the blink. I can check my camera any time of the day, turn on audio to speak and to listen, and reposition the camera from the app. It even has an alarm I can turn on manually or set to automatic. You do have to have an app and set up an account but they are free. You can upgrade but so far I haven’t felt a need to even though the upgrade is pretty cheap. I definitely recommend this over the blink and ring because it is very cheap and works well. I have had some issues with it not recording but I think it was one of the settings I had it on. Once I reset it, unscrewed it and put it back in it started working. I have it set to pet and human because it does get confused between people and pets. That seems to have fixed all the issues I’ve had with it.

App may hold you back, but camera is great
Camera is good, the app has some issues.Camera works great. Angles are great. Picture is great. I live at an apartment and it’s not always safe, so I like to have cameras. This particular camera I screwed into the light socket on my balcony so I could watch the parking lot where my car is. The only issue is that at night, it has a big bright blue light coming from it. So everyone knows a camera is there and looks up at it. There’s no way to turn it off, and it’s not the light you can choose to shine in the app. I liked the camera because it looked like a light bulb from far away & living on the second floor, I thought it would be great. So aside from the big blue light that calls attention to it, I love it. (In the day time pic you can see a small blue light, well it’s not that light, it’s bigger. In the night time pic, I couldn’t get a clear pic because people were around and I didn’t want them to see me take a pic. But trust me it’s very bright & very blue.)As far as the app, it seems to be having issues. The camera randomly disconnects from the app despite showing on my WiFi that it’s connected - which means I can’t monitor the camera or get notifications. It literally says, “Camera is disconnected”. Also, sometimes when you open the app to watch Live, it will crash if you try to watch with sound. I tried a few times in a row to watch live with sound but it would crash about 5 seconds after turning the sound on through the app. So I would watch with no sound and it would work. (This doesn’t happen every time, so it’s weird) Sometimes I’ll get notified of movement and I’ll open the app to watch and it’ll show me the 10 second clip, but once I switch it to the Home tab to watch live, it just says “Connecting…” and will sit and “load” foreverrrrr. Usually closing out the app & reopening it works. Not always.Anyway! I’m keeping the camera. Hopefully the bugs in the app get fixed but for the most part I’m satisfied which is why I gave 4 starts.

Camera is awesome
First of all I purchased these cameras to fill in where I don’t have my Ring cameras. The Ring is expensive to buy so many at a time. . And I like to shop deals so once Prime day or Black Friday rolls around I will probably get more rings to mount higher on the outside of my house. Where they can’t be unscrewed from a socket like these cameras can. That being said these camera have a way better quality of video and I like that you can rotate the camera on line a whole 360 and rotate to see directly below. Alert notification of motion person or pet detection is quick has a siren or alarm that you can send if you need to deter a thief. Live video is great. Ease of set up with a scan QR ability or manually through the app is super easy and fast. Great tracking ability.I bought a socket extension and put in my recessed light in my kitchen. Will buy more for our door and garage.Overall loved this camera it was way better than my expected. I bought two at 50 % off. And I am m going to get 3 or 3 more of the sale is still happening.Only con is that the app is not as user friendly as the Ring. But I am learning to get around on it.

Pretty much useless unless you subscribe to their service.
The fact is that unless you pay for their monthly service you can really only use this camera to see who is knocking on the door. When the camera decides to record (which is honestly, pretty hit or miss) it will only record a few seconds and then TIME OUT (ie 'Cool Down') for five minutes. So you might (again, hit or miss) get a 5-20 second vid of your neighbor's dog or kid in your yard, and then the record function will shut off for five minutes giving them time to tear up your garbage or trash you jack-o-lanterns and leave before the cool down period is over. (supposedly to save battery life, even though this camera REQUIRES being plugged in)This is a shame, because the camera quality is pretty good, and set up is easy. As for the hit or miss of triggering the recording cycle, that apparently can also be solved by their subscription service's AI function. Also note, no intrusion recording will take place while it is on live view. So it you step away or are not constantly watching the feed, you will not get a recording of what may have happened unless you are doing a continual stream recording AND have the patience to go thru the whole thing with their horrible stop/blank/start viewing set up.
