Would be perfect if it weren't for...
Esthetically it's very pleasing. It's cool to watch the blue bubbles and the double wall is nice because it stays cool. I also like the fact that you can control the temperature. But... For one, since this product is designed in the US, you'd think the graduation marks would be in fluid ounces, but they are in liters only. Also, it's hard to tell if it's on or off because as long as it's plugged in the light on the handle remains on. So, intuitively, when I see the light on I try to press the button to turn it off, and then I wonder if it's going to start boiling the wate again because I just pressed the darn button, so I just unplug it, which is not convenient but I guess it's the safest. Lastly, there is a nice reference on the product's box as to what temperature to use depending on what you need the water for (such as coffee, black tea, herbal tea, green tea, etc.), but would it cost them too much extra money to also place this reference chart in the manual, so you don't have to cut it out of the big box??? It is only on the box!

It does not get rust easily like CASO Germany or Breville. Temperature Control and Blue LED lighting for when ON.
I love it! After trying, CASO Germany and Breville electric kettle, and I have to say hand down to this one. I always test the electric kettle by boil water when firstly open the box; then leave it un-touch and boil the same water again after water cools down. CASO Germany and Breville shows rust on the stainless steel boiling needle and surface. However, BREVO doesn't show signs of rust on its stainless steel. We had very hard water in Tucson; thus it often reveals calcium carbonate deposits when boiling. I would have to clean it more often to remove these deposits, which is very common if you leave it hard water area. Don't return because you see these signs of deposits left on the wall or bottom of the kettle. It's your hard water! Very well-built, and I highly recommended this product.P.S. the temperature control is a plus too. :-) ... I'm not hard core tea drinker so that I haven't mess with it yet, but I do plan to test it out when making my instant coffee.

Out of all the kettles on AMAZON, this is the BEST ONE!!!!
This is by far the BEST kettle I could have bought. I really wanted a kettle with temperature control since I mainly drink tea, I wanted a glass one since its the healthiest (looks the classiest too), I wanted something that was not easy to break or burn me (this has double wall made out of plastic which does not touch the water but keeps it safe from bumps and getting burned, I actually put my hands on it when it's boiling just to warm them up), and I wanted something that will last me a long time (it comes with a manufacuter 1 year warrenty). This is the only kettle that met ALL of my needs and trust me I looked online for weeks before I bought one... a little OCD. Overall I couldn't have asked for anything better and I'm not sure why more people have not invested in this one. Some people are saying the lid can be a problem, but I feel that the manufacturer changed the lids because I have not had any problems with it and I use it every day!

Beautiful kettle
I love love love this kettle however mine has a defective lid. Just got it Thursday and today is Tuesday and it isn’t opening. Returning and ordering a new one this exact one. Will update rating if that one works smoothly. Love it though would never return if it wasn’t defective... UPDATE : I did get a new kettle and the seller was amazing they sent me one out that was updated to fix the lid issue. I LOVE THIS KETTLE. It’s beautiful and so great that it doesn’t get hot on the outside. I have small kids and while the plastic on the outside gets warm it’s not enough to burn them when the kettle is hot. Beautiful blue light when the kettle is working makes for a wonderful view as water is boiling. Highly recommend

Was great until it died
I adored this electric kettle which I bought in January. I used it every morning to boil the water for my coffee. About a week ago, early September, and so when I had been using the kettle for nine months, the kettle thermostat started to "jam"--it wouldn't allow me to set it to the higher temperature, so that it would boil. When this happened, I found that by unplugging the cord, and then replugging it, I could get it to work. But today it just DIED. I can find no information about Brevo, the company, and the warranty. A kettle that costs $49, should certainly last more than nine months, especially when it is only used once a day!!! Not happy! And not happy that Amazon has no easy to find customer service site to complain. Ironically though, they have a full company page of all Brevo products, but no brevo contact info. And I can't find a Brevo site when I google it! What's going on here, Amazon?

leaks?
I bought this kettle for my office. It is a lot larger than I anticipated (which is my own fault for not reading dimensions). It is loud. I have heated my water up 3 times to 195 degrees, and each time from about 130 degrees to 195 it gets really loud. Not a whistle or anything like a normal kettle but the sound of steam and the kettle heating up are loud for a work enviornment.I could deal with the noise, but the main problem is that it leaks. Each time after I've heated the water and poured some in my mug, I place the kettle back on the heating element. Each time I've used it, water has leaked out of it somehow at the base. There is standing water under the heating element on my desk. Not a few drops, but a rather large puddle that needed a few paper towels. I'm not sure how this is happening since the bottom of the kettle itself is dry, as is the top of the heating element. Regardless, standing water under a heating element that is plugged into electricity is a recipe for disaster. I am returning this item.
