The lovely fragrance would have been sufficient reason for me to keep using this product, but the quality is superior to the salon brands I've used for decades. Joico, K-pak, and L'Anza have been my go-to shampoos for their excellent hydration and repairing of damage. Theorie is every bit as effective. It lathers beautifully and rinses out easily, leaving my hair clean but not stripped of moisture. I have oily hair and used to have to lather twice. This shampoo cleanses with one application, yet it doesn't dry out my hair like the formulas that are designed for oily hair. The scent is reminiscent of Aveda products, but more refined and soft. I've used it for a few months and I absolutely love it.

I am in my seventies and have long grey hair to my waist. I have tried a variety of different shampoos lately and none of them have been satisfactory. I decided to try the Theorie shampoo, and it really work for me. Firstly when I pump the shampoo into my palm it comes out a lovely creamy consistency that I apply directly to my scalp. It doesn't foam up too much, causing suds everywhere. After rinsing off and drying my hair, the hair is left soft and pretty, not stringy or dry as I have experienced with other products. And then the bonus is the lovely soft scent, not overpowering, not synthetic smelling. I am so pleased that I have purchased a couple more Theorie products. Thank you. A++++

This is great shampoo. It is a little pricey. I would give it an overall 4.5. I ordered it September 22, 2025. I just got it November 12, 2025.

I have fine slightly wavy hair that can frizz on humid days. For context. I love Theorie shampoo and conditioner. I have been using it for almost 10 years now. Have tried to substitute. However, I feel for my hair this is the only products that work. My hair doesn't feel like straw after rinsing out the conditioner like many other products. Makes my hair shiny and soft without weighing it down. The scents are also wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Very good product ... a little goes a long way, and the product leaves the hair soft and clean with a single application. Also comes in a large-enough bottle so don't have to order often. And the smell is not overwhelming ... leaves the hair smelling clean.
