When I removed the sponge I immediately noticed a discoloration. The sponge is stained in multiple areas and does not appear to be new. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and attempted to wash the sponge with no change. Already processed my return. Totally disappointed. The photos were after it was washed twice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expandable *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2019* I have heard that a good sponge expands when wet. This one definitely gets bigger. Unfortunately it feels super soft and shreddable. Which may be how it is has to be to expand. Not really sure but to me it doesn't seem that durable. Seems delicate. It does do a really nice job applying makeup. It's a good size and a good shape.
