Kikkerland Waving Solar Queen

I’m not a Royalist but…I had a soft spot for the Queen and love a party so I needed a fascinator for a Jubilee party. And this was the perfect base for one. I can’t comment on the Solar function as I dismembered the item, but it was a pretty realistic representation of the Queen so I rate it highly in that regard. If you are in need of a waving royal, I can highly recommend this item. (just in case it’s not obvious, the picture is an image of how I used the product or at least the head and the arms, not a representation of the original product which was different)

The sun comes out and HMTQ merrily waves away. A fun little item :-)

I simply loved it, and didn't want to give it to my friend as a gift anymore! We kept HRH on the table with her plastic cover before giving it to the recipient for a couple of weeks, and she went on waving with no problems. My friend had it for few months now and it still works fine. Lovely gift for a laugh!

It was OK

When the sun shines on her solar handbag, "Her Maj" just waves and waves and waves. It really is hard to explain why this thing is so cheering, except to say that if you don't find her joyeous then there must be something wrong with your funny bone. It looks just like her, it waves just like her. A great gift for anyone with a even a teeny bit of affection for the wee lady. She's waving at me now from the window-ledge. Bless!

I saw these in a window display and had to track one down - first one arrived but didn't work (had a suspicious rattle) but was immediately replaced with no quibbles. The moulding is a little 'clunky' but it is a fun little gimmick. Have to say - 2 1/2 years after ordering she is still as 'good as new' the colours haven't faded and she is still happily waving.

The hand is waving back and forth like a little royal metronome and has been doing all day. She looks just like I expected - I ordered on spec and the pink one arrived very quickly and well packaged. I don't know how well she is going to stand up to the British summer, but for now she is bringing me joy by gracing my windowsill with her small royal plastic presence.

I have been sent a complete reject , this was purchased for my Sister who lives in America but there is know way I could give her such a piece of tack . It has been moulded in two parts and it doesn't even buff up it is miles out and looks awful . If it wasn't for the fact my daughter opened the packaging and tore the box and popped the bubble wrap it would have been returned .
