The belt feels very well made from good materials. I don't know yet how durable it is, but I am very sure that it will not fail the way other braided leather belts of failed. This is also my first ever stretch belt. It's comfortable, and keeps my pants up, but I'm still getting used to its feel. It's gotten a couple of compliments in just a couple of weeks, and that is not something that has ever happened to my previous belts.

This is a gorgeous belt. I bought for my husband as a gift and he loved it. It's real leather and actually does stretch. It appears to have elastic inside and the leather is woven around. Brilliant design and stunning, high quality

I appreciate Tommy Bahama products and have found previous purchases to be high quality and durable. I've used braided belts over the years in casual wardrobe which is Bahama's niche. I was expecting a high quality offering and was not disappointed. What I hadn't expected was just how elastic and stretchy the belt would be. It feels very substantial and is very attractive. I hadn't read the marketing closely enough but revisited saw that it's actually only 30% cow leather and mostly elastic material, though you'd never suspect that my its appearance. Leather is long lasting so I don't know how this blend will pan out over time. The belt exudes quality and surprisingly there was a waft of that leather smell when I removed it from its packaging. One thing I think they might address is the suggested sizing. I wear size 32 pants in the waist. Its recommended to buy a belt that's 2 inches greater than your size which means 34 inches which in this case is a medium. The belt does fit but is almost too long especially since it stretches so much. I considered sending it back for a small but fear it might be skating on thin ice, so will keep it even with the lengthy extension of belt. By the way, I love that unlike conventional belts with a finite number of holes to choose from, a woven belt has almost limitless possibilities of where to position the belt tong. So if you got carried away at the buffet and need a bit more expansion, you can allow for it. Then there's the price. You pay for quality, of course. But considering that the leather content is in the minority, and perusing other offerings that are competing, this might be a tad spendy price wise. But if you want a high quality woven belt that looks great, smells great, expands remarkably, from a quality brand name, you should be very satisfied with this belt as part of your casual wardrobe.

Excellent quality belt just be aware that the belt stretches and you may only need one size down from your usual size.

My favorite belt, liked them so much I bought two more in different colors. I like that they stretch so that you don't feel constricted, also infinitely variable if you gain or lose a few pounds.

Leather looks nice and appears to be made with continuous strips of leather. My previous $25 belt started to fray because strips were glued on. This belt is indeed stretchy, maybe a little too much. One annoying flaw is the difficulty threading the tip of the belt through the loop right next to the buckle. For this price level and brand name it’s a poor showing.
