Installed a power meter and watched as the voltages rose to 18.1v and dropped to 12.2v with the engine running. Rechecked all of the connections and still had erratic voltages. Nearly like the voltage regulator was going out. Reinstalled the OEM battery and all voltages returned to 13.7 to 14.5v. Something is wrong with this battery or the Yamaha does not like it so I will return it and stick with AGM or buy from a more notable supplier and see what happens. I highly encourage anyone buying this battery to monitor their voltages for wild variation.
