They are very stabilizing and will last a long time! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for an old steamer trunk turned into a toy box *by J***N on July 28, 2026* I have a small humpback old steamer trunk that I’ve used for games and now toys for the grandkids. The problem was if the lid slammed shut it could really hurt little fingers and if they were not delicate the lid would slot back and bang against the wall. I purchased these hinges to hold the lid up and allow the littles to close the lid slowly when getting out or putting up toys. The trunk lid was a little too heavy to just use one of the hinges I had to use both.
