Fairy Girls 1 (FAIRY TAIL) (FAIRY GIRLS GN)

The book is great and the art work is nice. I would recommend this to anyone that likes Fairy Tail.

If you like Fairy tail then youll enjoy this too! Same story with but the girls are the main protagonists

Contains a few stories centred around the main group of female members of fairy tail, they are reasonable and enjoyable enough to get it. These are set after volume 50 of the main series but doesn't greatly affect it, just some of the side stories of what they get up to when its just them.

I really wanted to love it, I really tried to love it, but it's just not very good, the art is plain and lack luster, even in the action shots, the story is dull as well as being condescending and highly critical towards the audience. The worst part of it for me was, that it is the strength and competency of the female of fairy tail that I adore, and in this Manga they are shown as weak, incompetent fools, who do not understand their powers.

This is good. It starts after vol. 50 of the main series and doesn't intrude upon that series but takes the 4 main female Fairy girls and shows us what adventures they get up to by themselves.I'm not well-versed in Fairy Tail at this point and only know two of the 4 female characters but didn't find it hard to gather what was going on and the plot was easy to figure out even though it got more complicated as it went along. Actually, a good first volume that tries to get a bit of everything in. Assuming we know who the characters are there isn't much development but they do each get a turn at showing off who and what they are, there is a lot of battling, the story is relatively complicated for a first volume and we understand relationships. This could prove to be quite successful as it is an ongoing series still current in Japan. Bad parts are the art is nothing like Hiro Mashima's and is downright not cute nor pretty like his work. Is Boku trying to make up for that with the outrageous amounts of bosoms floating around defying gravity everywhere you look? Perhaps. I'm not offended; I like boobs, but "Boob" really should be in the title to let you know how heavily they represent the main angle of the art. Perhaps "Fairy Girls' Boobs" LOL

If you're looking for a story about just the girls of Fairy tale then you found it.

I truly admire the spin-off(s). BOKU (the author of Fairy Tail Fairy Girls) is really good. But however, think i prefere Fairy Tail Blue Mistral (by Rui Watanabe)...! (-~-') I can read it unlimited on the Kindle Amazon (lucky me!)>_< The girls ( Lucy,Juvia,Erza and Wendy) are well-drawn. Obviously, it is really similar to Shojo manga. But some *perv* could read it and get all Zeus-like... BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
