finally some 100% real Star Wars!
Absolutely refreshing after the "recent" disasters of Star Wars run by the House of Mouse. The srory is brilliant, perfectly woofen into the breakout and post order 66 off the Clone Wars. A anti Hero which will leave noone untouched. Great work!

The unchoosen one
It's a good book. Got to say Delilah had me at the acknowledgements and author's note being one of the ones who does not fit the mould in most places. I could empathise a lot with Iskat's journey, especially as I do find the Disney era Jedi a bit too political and self-serving. I would like to think I would make better choices, but if there is no choice, survival is the only option.Iskat Akaris has always found the Jedi teachings difficult and questionable. Peace and restraint foes not come easy to her. However, in a time of war, she should excel, right? Wrong here, she finds even more secrets and constraints on her. Now, she has a dangerous radar and a dark trajectory.I enjoyed the book all the way through, but it was a little slow in places. Though I understand why it was written that way to enhance the trapped and despair feelings of Iskat. Though I found the book a bit slow, the ending was a bit too rushed for me. Overall, I would like to see more of Iskat. Let's see if that is possible?

Extremely rewarding from a certain point of view
An enticing read that intimately explores the failures of the Jedi Order in their final era and how the effects of their dogma made way for the ravenous hatred of the Inquisitors which have been paraded through much modern of Star Wars content. I did feel that the advent of order 66 was a bit unceremonious and that it seemed like the story was trying to rush to get to the point but the point that it was getting to more than made up for what I felt like was a somewhat underwhelming transition. I absolutely loved the portrayal of the dark side in this story and honestly I wish that there was more of it since the ending is so abrupt and ever slightly out of place. That being said it is an extremely solid story and there was nothing outside these few points that I didn’t absolutely adore.
