a good percolater that works just fine
This has worked for a few weeks making very good coffee on the stove. Takes around 10 minutes to begin perking at 8 on electric stove, then turn it down to low heat 3, for 5 to 7 mins and let it set for a few mins to settle, and it's just fine.I use regular ground coffee and a basket filter folded in half and then again and you trim the very tip off and create a hole in the middle of the filter, and it fits right over the filter tube perfectly, saving grounds from getting in your coffee.I actually can use less coffee to make more as I can brew or percolate it again after having 1 cup I just add another cup of water to the percolater and perc it again and let it perk a few mins. and it doesn't taste too weak, but a good medium strength. Keeping the knob loose helps it not break. A good percolater that works just fine.

Been around for over 200 years for a good reason
Tired of my coffee getting cold almost immeadiatly when I used a drip coffee maker or a Kurig. They just didn't make the coffee hot enough to stay hot more than a couple of minutes.Nothing fancy about this coffee maker. Well designed with a heavier gauge steel that I wasn't expecting. I bought filters for it, the 3.7, they fit fine. But you really don't need them. The hotter temp really brings out the flavor of the coffee. Makes up to 8 cups, but I usually just make the 6. That gives the two of us 2 cups each in the morning.Slowere than the Kurig, and slightly slower than the drip. But better tasting coffee.

Coffee tastes better!
It’s an old timey percolator. Works easy to clean and easy, With all the negative things heard about pod type machines I decided to try a simpler .method and much less expensive

Very basic percolator
Very simple basic stove top percolator. I'd like it better if it hadn't arrived broken. The glass perc knob was broken in two and won't stay in place. But I did try to make it work and the coffee it produced was drinkable. Everything else about it appears to be sturdy.

Very sturdy stainless steel with glass on top. Worked as expected, faster then I thought. Used only twice.

NO DISAPOINTMENTS HERE!
I wanted to wait awhile before I left a review because I wanted to use it first. I am so in love with this tea pot! It is well made, very sturdy, and remind me of my mom. I use it everyday for tea and coffee. Very easy to clean and use. I recently got rid of my older pot because it started to rust in certain areas. I am looking forward to getting years of use out of it. I hope this review help someone decide on ordering..

You will love your coffee
I use a percolator on my days off. It's not as quick as an auto drop, but it makes the best coffee ever! I bought this for my daughter. The first day she used it, she texted me saying, 'Why is this coffee so good??'Great little percolator for a great price
