These are awesome shorts. The picture and description is accurate. They aren't dressy like khaki "dad shorts" and they also aren't cheap looking or gym shorts. I wear these on daily basis, would wear them to park, running errands, meeting friends for dinner, out on a walk, etc. They are pretty much every day use and very comfortable.Side pockets are appropriately sized for a normal sized phone, keys, mints, etc. 2 back pockets seem durable so far and fit a nice slim wallet as you would expect from a nice pair of denim jeans or something.Color is nice and goes with anything (I got grey).Only "down" thing I can think of, but not enough to subtract a star, is the drawstring hangs down and swings back and forth... Seems like it could inadvertently draw attention... to that area of the shorts. I will sometimes tuck the strings into the shorts (they are long enough to do that) or I may tie them in a loose knot so they aren't bouncing around with movement. That's all, great shorts, 5/5 and would definitely buy again.

Great shorts. I' a 36" waist and the medium fit fine.

Just got a pair of mediums and they fit well. Obviously elastic, so they could fit someone much faster than me. Also ordered a pair in a different color in large, so I'll probably have to exchange. Bought a large just in case because so many people said to size up. No idea what that's all about. So my advice is to not size up. Look at the size chart and go off that when ordering. I might air dry though as they seem to shrink in the dryer. On second thought, maybe ill keep the larges and just dry them in the dryer? Only removing one star because the pockets are a little shallow. Which is why I bought some new pairs in the first place, because the current pair I like have such shallow pockets I've lost random stuff out of them. Different brand.

My husband wears out clothes really quickly, but these shorts have proven to be pretty durable so far. They look really nice - like they were more expensive then they actually are. The waistband with tie is super comfortable as are the shorts themselves. I convinced him to buy more so he has three colors now. Great product.

Great fit, they do run a tad bit bigger but it's not the worse. Will buy again

Nice looking shorts and fit well. Material was strange very stiff and almost felt waxy. These shorts also wrinkle very easily. Also found it strange that the strings are not centered they are off to one side slightly. For the price they could be better. Will still use them but if you’re looking for traditional cotton or khaki material shorts these are not that. Almost feel more like swimming trunks.

I would Recommend these to anyone that would listen. They are inexpensive, comfortable and fit great.

Fot great material is a little different than I expected but overall perfect shorts for what I need I was looking for a cheaper pair of nice looking shorts to work in yard and these are great

They are very comfortable and cool, ideal for summer. They fit the body very well. When I ordered it, it was a little long, so I recommend that you check the sizes carefully, I ordered an L. The colors are the same as those in the image. They are ideal for tall people.
