Excellent performance, best quality

Purchased 1TB SSD to replace smaller 250GB version of same brand. Used Acronis True Image to clone and process was straightforward. As a home pc user read and write speeds are impressive. I'm not really interested in whether it is fastest in class. It's fit for purpose and I anticipate will prove efficient and durable over time.

Perfect when you get a heatsink not had a problem so far

Reliable SSD. WD never fails to deliver with this reliable and affordable SSD. I use it to store my games and so far, no problems.

I'm using this WD NVMe SN580 2TB to make an external SSD - paired with an Enclosure from UnionSine - model MD202. My iMac is late 2015 27inch and only has USB 3.0 ports. When I run a disk test I see solid speeds close to the 0.5 GB/s max for USB 3.0 - See screenshot. The NVMe was 80% full. For comparison, I show the speed of a Samsung T7 1TB ( 65% full) on the same USB3.0 port. Speed for the off-the-shelf Samsung T7 SSD is shown to be slower across the board. Once I move up to a faster mac with higher speed USB ports I expect this NVMe to shine even more with a suitable enclosure.

Fast delivery and works well

Excellent product, easy to fit (they all are) and it comes with access to a good cloning software package, supplied from the Wsestern Digital websight when you access the site, effortless Windows OS migration.

This was an upgrade from my current 128GB internal SSD. Used the Acronis True Image for WD software to clone my existing drive to this with UGREEN's M.2 NVMe Enclosure and it was done easily. Been using this drive for about 6 weeks now and have had no problems. Running smoothly no issues.

Arrived next day. Cloned with nvme enclosure. Easy swap. Booted no problem and works just like the original but seems faster. I would buy again

I struggled with this for a few months before I finally talked to my daughter's tech friend. Turns out Windows 11 didn't recognize the fact that the SSD needed an update to make it compatible. I've had no problems since that issue was resolved. I've used Western Digital drives for over 20 years and this is the first issue I've had with one of their products.
