It was fantastic
Perfect and music is clear and works smoothly… but a little smaller than expected

It's an MP3 player.
The MP3 player is an MP3 player. Nice! Anyways, it's a sufficient lil buddy. My favorite feature is the sturdy belt clip and the headphone jack. It has three face buttons, two volume buttons on the side, one power switch, a USB C port, and a microSD port.Shuffle is weird. You cannot rewind to the previous song in shuffle; it will skip to a different, random song. If you play it in sequential mode, you won't experience this issue. You can sort by the artist, the albums (if your *ahem* totally legit MP3 files support that kind of data or you add them manually when they don't), or by the folders you create on the device itself. Song names are the names of the files, and doesn't use the song name in the title data. If you don't know what that means, then that's a good thing for you then.Anyways, the interface alright. It's not super snappy or anything, but it's also not a slog either. It's sufficient. The earbuds that come with these are just awful. They didn't survive a single full listen before I chucked them in the trash. My wireless earbuds sound just find though, but they're not exactly audiophile-excellent or anything. The best part is that all of the touch commands that I can use on my headphones work well on this device; the volume rocker changes the volume, one press of the single button pauses the song, two presses of the single button skips to the next song, a triple press of the single button rewinds to the previous song (if, again, you're not using the shuffle feature found in this MP3 player, in which case it'll just go to a random song in its list). It plays music. I'll rather use this when I'm going on workout runs and don't want my phone pummeling my thigh while I'm sprinting. That's all I got this for, and because it works well enough, I'll be keeping it for a while. Dare I say, I like it.

Small size large capacity
I like this little player! Lots of capacity with the 128gb card I added and lots of handy little features as well. Stays out of the way and Bluetooth means no cord to get tangled.

Low Quality, Complete lie.
If you want an MP3 player, spend a couple of extra bucks and get a name brand, and not one with questionable quality. This one is low quality. The operating system is inefficient, extremely low quality, and harder to navigate than my previous player (Sandisc.) The casing is low quality plastic, and it obviously isn't built to last. The battery life is not even close to 50hrs, and is a downright lie. This is the perfect example of an item that is low quality, does not have an outstanding battery life, and is lied about. (The bad grammar of the manual is funny though!) The only reason that kept me from throwing this straight into the wall was that it had bluetooth, and my previous one had been broken.

C.H.E.N.F.E.C, 32GByte Review

Fancier graphics are found but not a big deal to this reviewer. * All players, generally, have the same functions; notable additions are mentioned for an individual player. Some of the players use different words to describe the functions: - Settings, Stopwatch, Pictures, Calendar, Music, Bluetooth, Video, FM Radio, Pedometer, Folder, Sound Recorder, Ebook > C.H.E.N.F.E.C has a "Tools" function that includes many of the minor functions in the above list. > Tools includes an "Alarm" function that may not be in the other players - All screens are readable. The C.H.E.N.F.E.C player has a larger screen, and "fancier" graphics. - Bluetooth all connected and played through compatible equipment. - Very Common Behaviors > It is very possible (likely?) that each of these players are built on the same integrated circuit platform, with similar operating software. >> S.W.O.F.Y, and O.I.L.S.K.Y look and function almost identical; however, there were some sound quality differences in the units tested. Due to the single sample size, it is not clear if these are individual unit or overall player differences. > Button Functions >> On/Off >> Most players have a top slide switch for On/Off >> M.E.C.H.E.N uses a side press button >> Volume Up & Volume Down (side mounted) >> 5 Main Buttons >> Up >> Down >> Left >> Right >> Center: Play/Pause/Select >> Back >> Menu >> Player Exception: C.H.E.N.F.E.C uses only 3 physical buttons for the "5 Main Buttons", "Back", and "Menu" >> many functions are activated by holding 1 of 3 buttons. >> unfortunately, the context of the functions seems to change and is not always intuitive >> Example: the Back function may be activated by different of the 3 physical buttons, depending upon the context (specific menu) > MP3 Player: >> Not strong bass response (using higher end ear buds) >> Strong treble response (using higher end ear buds) >> varying levels of noticeable sound distortion when playing music that is recorded with high volume (using higher end ear buds); the sound distortion does not seem to be related with player volume >> 4000 songs can be listed in the internal playlist (still even 4000 for the M.E.C.H.E.N player with twice the song memory) > FM Radio: >> Requires wired headphones to be plugged in (the wired phones act as the antenna for the radio) >> Volume is excessively high (moderate MP3 player volume of "14" is roughly the same level as FM Radio volume "4"). >> Overly high treble response > Ebook: >> Any text must be in text (.txt) formatted files >> (Any?, All?) text files (*.txt) in the folders seem to be found listed in this function >> text is displayed on the small screen; not very usable > Folder: >> Files can be loaded from a Windows computer. using a USB-C cable. >> Music, etc ., can be searched and played, scrolling through the folder and file structure that has been loaded. > Battery Life: >> Two fully charged MP3 players were used to play music from memory: S.W.O.F.Y, and C.H.E.N.F.E.C. >> Wired, ear bud phones were installed on each player, and only Music playing was evaluated. >> Both players played for over 27 continuous hours before the evaluation was stopped. >> As a general observation, all players seemed to be capable of this extended play.

Somewhat difficult to figure out how to navigate the menus
Good deal for the price but the instructions may be the worst I've ever seen. I'm sure they could pay someone a couple hundred dollars to proof read and rewrite the instructions. As it is now go ahead and read it for its comedic value. I'm always up for a good laugh.
