Wash in cold water with similar colors Review: HOT SLEEPER HERE/LOVE THESE. - Decades long hot sleeper here. I had been using a lamb’s wool mattress cover along with bamboo top sheet for some time. The combo worked well enough but as time marched on I found the lamb’s wool labour intensive to clean and the bamboo cold to the touch plus it tented and allowed AC cold air to get inside. After quite a bit of research I decided on 100% Modal. It’s early days but I feel it was a GREAT choice. The fabric drapes nicely over the body, no tenting nd no cold AC air getting inside. It maintains a uniform body temp that is neither cold or hot. I’ve yet to be woken up from sweating which did happen occasionally with wool. It is soft to the touch. For the first couple of minutes it feels cool but quickly adjusts. It does bunch a bit under body weight but unlike wool it is not felt at all. I quickly discovered that the best way to make the bed is to just allow it to drape…no tucking. That has made making the bed quicker and easier. It washed up beautifully in cold, delicate wash, I hung them inside to air dry. They dried fairly quickly under ceiling fan on high with the fitted sheet corners taking a bit longer. If you are looking for an easy care, moisture wicking, temperature regulating sheet set for hot sleeping then I highly recommend these. Well worth the cost.
