A great price for this iconic comedy classic

Night Court season 5 starts where season 4 left off Judge Christine Sullivan has gotten Harry's job back but they can't find him while Harry gears up for the prank of the century he meets a sucidal inventor who convinces him to fight to get his job back. Harry gets his job back and becomes a judge again, Christine realizes she isn't judge material and goes back to being a defense lawyer. Other highlights include Bull getting struck by lightening and thinks he's talked to God, Roz learns she is a diabetic and goes into insulin shock while Harry has to save the original draft of the US Constitution from a man with a lighter in a great 2-parter. The Night Court is once again to race through over 200 cases. This season ends in a cliffhanger where Dan Fielding who is actual in Army Reverses is given a mission at first the cowardly Dan thinks it's to a warzone, but by the time he learns what his mission is his lacky Phil bungles it and Dan is sent to remote station in North Pole but his friends learn that his plane crashed and Dan is thought to be dead.Overall Night Court Season 5 is pretty funny, in particular: "Ladies' Night,Another Day in the Life, Dan: The Walking Time Bomb" my personal favorite is "The Constitution" parts 1 and 2 it's a real showcase Marsha Warfield and John Larroquette for both their comdeic and dramatic ablities.

Love the Night Court gang! Hate that I have to buy one season at a time when I have the extra money to do so, but it is worth it when I do buy them. The first season was not as great as the other seasons but that's only because the creators were still trying to find the right character formula. Once they found that, it was amazing from then on! From the unconventional judge, the sexist prosecuting attorney, the sometimes clueless giant bailiff, the goody two-shoes public defender, the sweater-loving court clerk to the tough-as-nails, bad-to-the-bone co-bailiff, this is what sitcoms is all about! Watching this show brings back memories for me! Not just of growing up in the 80's, but of how great the TV sitcoms really were back then. Today's sitcoms has way too much dry humor that frequently gets lost on some people. This show was well written and the character chemistry is very visible. I recommend this show to EVERYBODY every chance I get! This TV series would be an asset to anybody's video library!

Probably you watched this series in the '80s-'90s. It's fun to re-watch them. If you haven't seen it, it is a must-watch.

I bought this dvd the 5 th season because Night Court dvd sells out fast ! So next I am getting the 4th season the reason I got this is because of the price . Good prices R a Great thing !

This show is as universal as I Love Lucy with just a dash more salt. The guest stars included faces not yet famous. But the main reason for watching was the main characters. The tone was blatantly silly. But they plucked heart strings apologetically on a regular basis. The depth of the writing never wavered making this show more than just a hit. It was a treasure. And a perfect way to brighten a gloomy day or outlook. A complete set should be required viewing for every adult who takes life a bit too seriously. And everyone who else who refuses to.

22 episodes of court room comedy with court room gang. Not a dud episode in the fifth season. One of the best episodes in season 5 was "Death of a Bailiff" is when Court Bailiff Bull Shannon gets struck by lightning when helping Art the building maintenance man with a cable on the roof of the court house and Bull ends up thinking that Art's voice was the voice of God talking to him and ordering him to give all of his life savings to the poor and needy.In another episode entitled "Safe" is when Judge Harry Stone orders a huge safe to be delivered to his Judges Chambers and almost looses his life trying to escape from the safe he accidently gets trapped inside of for one of his escape tricks.Season 5 is a must have DVD for all Night Court Fans.

Great series - good clean fun for the fun loving person. Had a great time watching it with my family.

Just got my Night Court season 5 DVD set from Amazon.ca and I can say the set is excellently put together on 3 discs with great sound and picture quality.The episodes in season 5 are some of the best ones from the series that I remembered watching as a kid.One thing you will notice with Night Court is that as the seasons progress they get more and more Slap Sticky. I would say Season 5 has the most Slap Stick comedy up to this point in the series and it have you rolling on the floor with laughter.Another bonus of buying from Amazon.ca is that you can't buy them in any retail store in Canada as they are a U.S. release only. Seasons 4 & 5 were released through the Warner Classics line and I hope to see other 4 seasons released by them in the near future.I highly recommend this DVD set to any Night Court fan.

Absolutely love it! I am a huge Night Court fan. It took a while to arrive but I suspect that the postal backlog due to the pandemic was the reason. No biggie. The important part is that it’s here safe and sound. It’s just like I’m back watching it as a teenager again (except without commercials! LOL).

Great Series. Worth it.
