Review: Gorgeous paints - I’ve used cheaper brands like himi before, but decided to finally try acrylic gouache (which I know can be on the pricier side). The paints are highly pigmented, have a buttery smooth consistency and when the black dries, it looks/feels almost like velvet— I love it! A reviewer on this page said they dry fast… I would not let that review discourage you. If fast drying is an issue, you can buy slow-drying mediums. Acrylic paint and acrylic gouache have completely different finishes. I love the flat colour finish of acrylic gouache, making it look almost like a digital painting.

Absolutely fabulous paints! I fell in love with gouache, but wanted something with the same beautiful qualities that wouldn’t reactivate when layering - these were perfect and a joy to paint with. One star off for the delivery packaging (or lack thereof). The paints arrived in an open, buckled box held closed by a thin strip of plastic - it’s a miracle all the tubes made it, and I’m so glad that they did. Aside from that, fantastic paints and definitely recommend!!
