Wonderful Quality
Bought this for my son's birthday. We both loved the quality and ease of use as well as the ability to clean in dishwasher. Bought a second set to give someone else for their birthday as well

Nice product, the handle is not easy to use
Great product for grilling vegetables. The handle is a bit annoying, a bit hard to attach and detach.

Oh, I Like This!
This Kabob Basket Combo Set is a godsend for me because I have essential tremors in one of my hands. Normally I use one of those perforated disposable aluminum pans to roast vegetables on the grill, but because of the tremors, the food tends to bounce around like popping popcorn when I'm carrying the tray. With these three baskets the food is well-contained and safe from accidentally taking a nose-dive. The baskets are made from stainless steel and are dishwasher-safe (and steel-wool safe, if needed). They are all 12 inches long and 2 inches wide, but there are two baskets that are 2 inches deep and one that is 3ยพ inches deep so there's versatility. There is one removable metal handle that works on all three baskets. There are prongs that slide into the basket and a clamp that holds on to it. It's sturdy. The handle is long enough to allow for a safe grip away from the heat source. Having a removable handle means that the grill lid can be firmly closed when grilling. The baskets themselves open and close easily, and they're designed so that meat and vegetables won't fall through the openings. The set came with a black vinyl storage bag with two slide clasps. It also has an adjustable carrying strap that can be worn on the shoulder, making the set convenient to tote. The set is made in China for a company called Braize, located in Russell IL (according to the box), and came well-packaged in a sturdy box. There's an included card giving information on how to get a downloadsble recipe book from the company. There are no separate instructions inside the box, but the outside of the box has enough information and pictures to make the use clear. I really like this, and am finding it very useful.

Great for Kebobs
I have several types of grilling baskets (these, round mesh, etc.) and these are by far the most sturdy and easy to clean. They come with a great handle that clips on and makes it easy to turn them and remove them from the grill. The basket cages have spring clips that secure the lid that keeps it closed while grilling with them. They also have a nice carry bag that's included to store them. Cleanup is also easier than the common round mesh-style. They are stainless steel, so you can run them through the dishwasher. I still had some residue so they needed a quick scrub to finish the job, but it was easy enough compared to the mesh style that bend easily. The only downside is that the cage slots can allow some thinner sliced food to slip through. We used them to grill veggies (onions, peppers, zucchini and mushrooms) and some onions slipped through onto the grill. That said, these work really well. The veggies had a nice char on them.

They work great but are miserable to clean.

Cool kebab cages for campfire cooking
I used these on a recent camping trip to make chicken kebabs with some peppers and onions. I packed the smaller cages pretty full, then threw the extra chicken pieces in the large cage. I think I packed the smaller cages too tightly. It took a long time to cook, but I'm pretty sure a more loosely filled cage or a less hangry family would have worked out really well. Cleaning at the campsite was fairly easy. The national park we were at had a sink for final rinsing. Completely cleaning any welded grates like this is a little challenging, but I made quick work of it. Also, we ended up using the bottle opener in the handle, which is a nice little extra to have. I'm very happy with the order. I think this will also come in handy for grilling veggies at home, since that can be a bit tedious to do over a grill.

Why did I wait so long
These are great! I don't know how I have managed so long without them. They are perfect for fish and vegetables and keep everything intact. I like that there is a clip-on handle, making it easy to get these hot grilling baskets off the grill. These grilling baskets are a must if you are a person who loves grilling. I have had others and they were large and flat, but I like these because the food doesn't fall through. These are perfect.

Great alternative to skewers. The baskets are sturdy and stay closed.
What I Like: Loading pieces of meat, veggies and shrooms into a basket instead of threading them onto a skewer and having them split or break. The detachable handle. Cool idea that works reasonably well. The handle can be manipulated easy with barbecue gloves. I like that I can marinate meat before hand and not worry about it being to tender to stay on a skewer. What I don't like: The brackets on the end of the baskets for handle connection do not have finished inside edges and are quite sharp. For something that is well made and generally well designed, this is not acceptable. No reason they couldn't have been finished after stamping, prior to bending and welding. Lost a star for that. Clean up is what can be expected for stainless. Don't stick in the dishwasher and expect miracles. Best method is to make a mixture of Barkeeper's Friend liquid and water, then let them soak for 30 minutes . Scrub with a brush to remove as much as you can and then wash with soap and water or toss in the dishwasher. Despite the bracket issue, these appear well made and will serve me well.
