Classic stuff here
This, I believe, is my second review ever, and I have bought a lot of stuff on Amazon. I was a bit hesitant about the cost of this stand but I really liked the uncomplicated design. After receiving the product today, I was very impressed with the packaging and presentation. Packaged in 3 parts, each individually wrapped and snugly fit into a very nice looking (recyclable) box, it was a joy to see something packaged to reflect the elegance and simplicity of the contents. A small graphic on the bottom of the box is all that is needed to explain assembly with the included screws and tool. Two extra screws were supplied also, which I think is a nice touch, especially since they are small and would be difficult to find if dropped. I almost didn't want to unbox this product, and now I am almost sad to use it because all I can see are the small tabs in the front while the stand holds my 13" MacBook Pro at a perfect height to use as a second monitor.

I like it.
It's solid aluminum with silicone pads. It is held to the aluminum base with 4 small screws. The metal is fairly thick and does not flex easily.I am using this with an HP Spectre x360 15" laptop and it fits almost perfectly. Due to the aluminum it is not very heavy - which could be considered a drawback. There are silicone pads underneath as well so it stays fairly immobile on my glass-top desk.

TO ME NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE. FOR ME IT SITS TOO LOW AND NOT AS STURDY AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. YOU WILL NEED SOME DEXTERITY WITH YOUR HANDS TO PUT IT TOGETHER. RETURNING IT.FYI: THERE IS A 20% RESTOCKING FEE JUST IN CASE YOU WANT TO RETURN IT, THIS WAS A SUPRISE TO ME.

Very sturdy, my last lap too stand was very bouncy
Very sturdy, my last lap too stand was very bouncy, I had to hold it to type.This stand is very sturdy, no bounce. Just enough lift for the back of the laptop.
