WC SweatZ XM5 - Patented Earpad Sweat Covers for Sony WH1000XM5

Wicked cushions did very good with these headphone covers. They’re doing the lords work tbh. XM5’s are no cheap headphones either, so make sure you take care of them well. I got mine in the mail today and I haven’t been able to put them down since, the silicone is nice, smooth, comfortable, and snug (no worries of anything falling off while working out). Not to mention, I'm in love with the color. When I got off work today, I ran a 3 miles and it’s true, they’re definitely SWEAT PROOF. They also don’t affect the sound quality either. I bought both the whole set and I feel like they could be a bit cheaper and they obviously make my headphones a bit heavier, but I ain’t complaining. I’m very satisfied regardless. If you’re unsure, look no farther.

I have been using Wicked Cushions for a long time. When I got my xm5 sony headphones I decided to used the sweat covers from them. They keep the original pads protected from sweet or scratches. Very easy to install. Lost forever and no adhesive needed the just fit perfectly ontop of pads. Comfortable and they don't change the sound at all. The only thing is the color kind fades away.

I noticed the description changed from when purchased from fitting thr XM5 AND XM6 to just the XM5. I have the XM6 headphones and have been using for over a month almost every day sweating bullets whether it is in my home gym on treadmill, on rowing machine, stationary bike, weight training to jogging around the neighborhood i 88 degree weather here in NY and these have performed as I was expecting. I saw a review that these covers cover the mic but I haven't had any issues with people not hearing me. Disclaimer on that note is I dont usually talk much when wearing these headphones as I am usually working out but the few times I did get a call, it was fine.

I bought these primarily for workouts and jogging with my Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones, and for that purpose they are genuinely useful. The fit is excellent. They sit securely, look good, and feel comfortable even during longer sessions. They also make the ear pads much easier to keep clean, which is a big advantage if you regularly use over-ear headphones for exercise. Living in Miami, where sweating during workouts is basically unavoidable, this has been especially helpful. I use them for jogging and gym workouts, and being able to remove and clean them easily is much more practical than constantly worrying about sweat getting into the original ear pads. There is one important downside, though: in my experience, they noticeably reduce the effectiveness of the XM5's noise cancellation. The ANC doesn't feel as precise or as strong with these installed compared with using the headphones without them. For me, that tradeoff is acceptable because I mainly use these during sports, and they are very easy to put on and remove again. I simply take them off when I want the best possible noise-cancelling performance. Overall, I would give them 4 stars. They are a very practical accessory for anyone who exercises with their XM5s, especially in hot or humid conditions, but buyers should be aware that improved sweat protection and easier cleaning come with some reduction in ANC performance.

These were a quick and easy installation for the Sony XM5 earphones. They did not cover the control buttons and the effect on the sound was nominal. The silicone cover is not as comfortable as the leather type OEM that covers the foam, but for the protective benefit from sweat, the mild change in comfort is worth it. I'm not certain if they will be totally effective, but for the time there is no evidence of sweat or moisture on the other side of the silicone barrier. Well worth the money to protect the earphones. Good value and they show no signs of wear or deterioration after use.

Awesome! The actual color match very close to the headphones despite the different blue tone, color, and the pictures. Very happy!

First of all they are definitely sweat proof. Sweat will still build up but it’s not nearly as noticeable as without them. Now the ANC. Reading the reviews everyone says they’re barely affected but if you’re doing anything but sitting still the seal gets broken. Lots of noise will bleed through just by talking or moving your head. Would recommend if you use them for the gym only/activity but if you like the ANC then do not buy.

Doesn’t affect sound quality, actually makes the headphones more comfortable at least for me and the thickness is just right. The fit is perfect and it doesn’t feel like they will fall out. The color is lovely and matches my ashy pink xm5 really nicely. I have really small ears so ear placement is never a problem for me but considering these fit the cups perfectly I doubt it will make the fit uncomfortable for larger ears. Overall really satisfied with this purchase.

El material del que están hechos es muy resistente y flexible, cubren perfectamente la parte del auricular, no permiten que el sudor entre a la almohadilla. Yo las utilizo en mis Sony XM5 y jalan perfecto, la medida es exacta y cumplen su propósito muy bien, no se salen permanecen fijos todo el tiempo. Solo de vez en cuando en el gym te los quitas para limpiar el sudor y te los pones de nuevo. Vale la pena por la protección que te ofrecen para cuidar tus audífonos, el precio se me hace muy bueno por la calidad del producto. Los que yo compré son color negro y son idénticos al color de mis audífonos, así que no se nota que traen una protección adicional. No te calientan las orejas y son muy suaves y cómodos. Una excelente compra, más que satisfecho. Tal vez me anime a comprar después los color camo para variarlos y hacer más divertidos mis audífonos.

Good product , perfect fit , protects your headphones from sweat , not as comfortable as the original cushion but it's a compromise to ensure longitivity of headphones , installation was also very easy.

It really helps protecting from the sweat
