Great piece of kit to remove scratches
Bought this to remove some deep scratches on the kitchen breakfast bar. Had tried other things and this was a last resort. You have to have a decent drill or ideally a polishing arm. Its a bit disconcerting as you grind off the glass surface and create white dust. However keep going through the green and then blue polishing discs and eventually you get a smooth but cloudy surface, Patience and a steady hand on the final polishing gets an "as new" finish. I had to go back and use the fine sander again as i still had some fine scratches.

It definitely works and the results take time but are worth it.
it does the job it just took a lot longer than I thought. Only advice I have is do not use the sandpaper unless the polish cannot remove the scratch and also if you only polish the scratch looking through the window will be different where the pane has been polished/sandpapered (it thinner so light refracts through it differently) and the only way to avoid this is to do a bigger area and have it all be the same thickness. May be my drill was not powerful enough but doing a larger area than just the scratch will be very time consuming. All that said - the scratch deep and 18 inches long has gone and the glass looks ok. Good product. Does what it states. manage your expectations.

Scam
Be aware, it damaged my window and I had to replace my Audi driver window! Do not use this product!

Mixed feelings
I had several light scratches on the inside of the front passenger window of my car. I suspect that the previous owner was a woman who had a small dog (the car was low mileage, in good condition but very dirty inside). I had thought about trying to remove these scratches with this kit several times but was apprehensive about it. I watched some videos on YouTube and it seemed quite straightforward, so I decided to take the plunge and bought the kit. I felt it was rather expensive and this was confirmed when I saw the contents. There's nothing wrong with them, they're reasonable quality, but the price is high for what you get.So onto the product itself...I had small scratches in awkward areas near to the bottom and the top of the glass and a deeper scratch in the middle. I decided to use the smaller sanding disk for this. The abrasive disks work well but quickly become ineffective as they lose their "sharpness" and clog, so you get through them quite quickly. I found it difficult to get a smooth result and feel it would probably be easier with the larger disks. As it was, I found it difficult to avoid swirl marks. It took a lot of work and quite a long time (and all the abrasives) to get a flat result, which wasn't as perfect as I would like. Polishing with the felt mop was easier and it seemed relatively quick to get a shine on the glass. However, once I had cleaned the glass fully, a haze became apparent and I had to polish again. This happened a couple of times and I spent some considerable time on the polishing phase. The scratches were out at last, but the surface of the glass isn't optically flat - you can see the variation in the right light and from the right angle. This is down to technique more than the product I suspect and like I said, it might be easier with the larger disk.As a final note, I'd say that I now wish I'd left the scratches in the glass, but I don't think I can blame the product too much for this.

If you can live with it if it does not work
Pretty poor. Was not the same kit as described. The bottle was pretty empty and all plastic packaging. Spent about four hours polishing a small scratch out. Whilst I'm not an expert glass polisher I've spent a lot of time working with automotive and engineering. Not being naieve to how hard it is but I do regret even trying on small area. Just imagine that the result of failure is pretty ugly.

Not for cars
I did the job but I won’t recommend on a car front windscreen

To get a light scratch out of a large piece of glass, worked well even using an 18v battery drill.

Works exactly as descibed
I have seen some negative reviews here and I understand why. You probably didn't follow the instructions. I just had a french door installed and the paint was peeling on the inside frame and I thought just use sandpaper to get the paint off. Next day the glass was scratched around every edge of the inserts. I bought this hoping I don't have to replace the door and I first started with a cordless drill and 3 fresh batteries. 1 hour later 2 batteries down and I barely made a dent. I mean who has a corded drill anymore. Well once I say that I could remove the inserts and it left me with a giant piece of glass I bought their polishing tool. Oh boy am I glad. 20 mins in I got 4 times as much progress as I did with the drill. This is going very well now. Do not buy this thinking its going to be fast and easy. This is more of a slow and steady wins the race. And I do not think that the supplies in the kit are for anything more than 1 scratch. I had to buy 10 of the very course, and 20 of each of the blue and greens.
