It came with a protective cover of either side of the panels that was absolutely and positively difficult to take off. My nails are ripped to shreds. The instructions were hard to understand, so good luck trying to figure it out on your own. It's not rocket science but it's like a very difficult clear puzzle. When together the structure is unstable and the sides were constantly falling apart. For the price, and the royal pain in my arse, I would wait for Hobby Lobby to have theirs at 50% off.

This damn thing comes in a flat box and you tape the box together…… what a joke for $35

This display case is not a molded case but instead is 4 sides, a top and a base piece that require assembly. All pieces have a protective paper on both sides which can be a challenge to remove if you are in a hurry. The pieces are a nice thickness with the base being thick and heavy. It does work as a display case but shows best at a distance, not front and center.

Assembling this display case is definitely an annoyance, but once together it is very nice looking. The pieces all come with protective sheets on each side that are quite difficult to remove but once you get them off the rest of the assembly is simple. This is a very nice looking and sturdy case. I picked this one for the size, not specifically for a football, and it works great as a memorial box for a pet.
