Love my little tool
Being small and plastic it was easy to use for my toy making and measuring my toy eyes

Handy, but quite innacurate
It's been useful, but for example a measurement of 8mm will come up as between 7.5-8.5, I tend to measure what I need multiple times to get an accurate measurement. From above calculations it is roughly 85% accurate

Easy to use, light and accurate.
Nice little calliper gauge, really easy to use (switch on - zero if necessary - use - switch off). Appears very accurate (although how would you know to one-hundredth of a millimetre). Plastic jaws so no scratching which is what I wanted. Gauge seems solid enough for the kind of sizes it is intended for.

Difficult to replace battery
Good whilst it lasted, but doesn't have an auto-off function. This led to the accidental discharge of the battery and I thought, no problem, I'll just replace it. I didn't realise I had to remove the back panel, board and LCD screen to access the battery! (Sr54 type)By the time I had done this, the callipers were completely disassembled and the tiny screws are very tedious, also stripping the plastic on the board and housing.Seems to me that this isn't designed for user maintenance. At £13 or whatever I paid for it, it's cheap enough to replace but I'd rather not have to.The accuracy is also a bit questionable - it's good enough for 1/10th of a mm but beyond that, there are too many inconsistent results for the same sample. So if your requirement is accurate to the nearest millimeter it should be fine.Things I like include it's lightweight construction, which meant you didn't know it was in your pocket. It's also a maximum dimension of 150mm by 50mm, so it's pocket sized and can fit in your breast pocket no problem. A little pocket clip on the back, but that broke off within a few days. This would be most suited for someone who works in an office environment rather than a workshop or in the field. But be sure to check that it's turned off, regularly!I won't be buying another as it's no good for my needs - measuring the thickness of 38mm chain links - I'll stick with regular callipers and a steel ruler. So think carefully if this is actually suited to your requirements.

You get what you pay for
Works OK now it's been fixed. Did not work on receipt. So had to check the battery to make sure there was one. So after 5mins picking paint out of the wee screw whick had been filled with paint in opened up to find a rotten battery. And then after removing it and the white scale that had built up. Then hab to carefully solder in a little metal tag in the battery holder as the original was still stuck to the battery. Get a new battery and now works ( kind of) to cheap to bother sending back. Good luck

Nice and small.
Accurate and compact, I use it for coins and it does the job nicely.
