I find Apple's wireless mouse to be very hard on my hand and wrist, as it sits very flat. This Technet is much more comfortable and allows more confident scrolling with an actual scrolling wheel. My hand is smaller than most men, yet I'd like this mouse to be even larger for the sake of comfort. It allows both left and right clicking and has two buttons on the thumb side that you can use for alternative controls. I use one of the buttons to allow quick navigation between windows and open programs on my Mac. As it is asymmetrical, this mouse is clearly made for right-handed users. The optical sensor has great response and allows for very accurate maneuvering of the pointer on the screen. It has an automatic battery-saving feature, where the mouse goes into standby if it has been dormant for more than 10 seconds. I wish this was set for 60 seconds at least, because when I pause what I am doing for less than a minute, it's then in standby mode and I have to click it or move it to get it activated again. This has become a bother, particularly when doing detailed graphic work or photo editing. The adjustable DPI is helpful, but I find I rarely do adjust it.
