Y.I.C.'s GIANT Book of Yorkshire Terrier Care

Very informative!

This book is pretty exhaustive information on all things Yorkie. Only two major complaints. It has no index, so it's difficult to look up particular subjects. The website that is supposed to show products and updated info does not seem to exist. Maybe someone has found it and could help me out? Wish I could give 5 stars.

I’m getting my first Yorkie pup next month and this book has everything you need to know. This has helped me learn about the breed as well as preparing for the new puppy. This book has information on from puppy, adult and senior. Lots of health information as well. If you are getting a Yorkie or even have one already, I highly recommend this book.

I purchased and read a bunch of Yorkie Terrior books after I purchased my now 5lb, one year old Yorkie Terrior. Most of the books were general dog or puppy books, which could be applied to any breed. This book was specific towards Yorkie's and problems they may have. My little Yorkie was behaving oddly and since I I owned a Yorkie before, my mom had one and my sister currently has one (a rescue), I knew something was wrong. This book helped me figure it out and explain to my vet what symptoms my Yorkie was having and could this be the problem? He agreed and we fixed the problem.

This book has a lot of easy to understand information about Yorkies. Very detailed. I would purchase this book again.

Can save money by just reading the website, I thought it would have more information. Nice to have paper to read rather than a screen though.

Best book! This book on Yorkshire Terriers is incredible. I don’t say that lightly. It’s a big book that includes just about anything you could possible think of about this breed of dogs. I honestly was in awe about all the different options they talk about. I’ve never seen any reference book that has done such a thorough book on this breed. Don’t buy anything but this book.I can also say that I was able to take some of the behavioral related subjects and apply those to other dog breeds too.This book was bigger and thicker then I expected. It’s totally worth the money you spend on it. So really, look nowhere else if you want to know about Yorkshire Terriers from Puppies-Adults-Seniors. It covers things I hadn’t even realized I should learn about to help my rescued Yorkie be the best she could be, to be the happiest and healthiest too. Great book!

Beautiful book. Very informative and easy to read. The book is well set out and well made.

If you are new to yorkies this is a go to before to bring the baby home or after. I’ve gone from mastifs to an Engatsu and a Biewer love them both

Wish it had a chapter on false pregnancy. Not up to date with the literature (ex it's best to spay before the third heat, not before the first, particularly in animals so small and with complex anesthetic requirements). Much of the book is about breed standards and variations. In general, a good guide to have about Yorkie care and what to expect if you plan to own one.

Thus book has everything you would want to read about your Yorkie pup. We are new to owning a pet and this book gives you so many tips on this breed. I find I pick it up throughout the week when I am looking for advice. It has it all!
