would a 10.5 running shoe size be medium or large for these socks?

I am mens 9.5 Brooks GTS and have these socks in Medium but others same sock but different colors I have in Large. Large is better because washing may shrink a little. Wash in cold water and low heat or air dry. Size 10.5 for you - Large or XL is my recommendation.

Will these ultraglide no show socks not be hidden at all if worn with men's low cut shoes such as casual boat shoes ? they look a bit high

No they don’t show with a low cut boot.

Women size 8 shoes. should i get s or m?

Medium. If u wash lightly. They will always snug up.

I wear a women’s size 8 shoe. What size do I get in the sock? Thanks!

I think M is your best alternative for fit and protection
