A kayaking friend recommended the Luci light to me for backpacking. It is waterproof, lightweight, and an emergency charger. Big bonus is how far it actually throws light, the different settings (dim, bright, brighter yet, blinking), and it self inflates!! I was worried about the breath condensation making it age faster and get cloudy but it has a built in squeeze-to-inflate valve which makes it super easy. High quality and will last many adventures.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. Not only does it provide light in the woods, but it provides electricity for charging a cell phone or satellite watch. It is extremely compact and charges with a small solar panel. Depending on your phone you get one charge per but I was able to charge my Garmin watch several times and it always provides hours of light. I had the old version which was solar only that worked really well for years. The added features make this one a must have. Great to give as a gift because it is so easy to use.

This is a must-have solar and USB chargeable light. It has several light settings and can be used to charge a cell phone. I bought the very first version of this light ages ago. I'm glad to see an upgrade with the added USB port. My original light is still going strong. We bought this as an emergency backup light and to use outside at night. A must have for every household! Giftable!

Not only did this item not take a charge, but it was missing a cable and instructuons. I have purchased before these Luci lights, but the product quality seems to be plummeting, regrettably. I am highly disappointed. Returned item with Amazon return label, and nobody can tell me where it isnin transit, and it has been over a week and a half since it was mailed. Amazon has the abikity to track it but will not tell me where it is in transit. How does it take only days to sjip to me but up to 30 days to ship it back if defective while my money is held in limbo, unable to purchase another product elsewhere? Vert disappointed in both Empoelwered and Amazon. Amazon used to refund items even if they did not require them to be shipped back. The rep I spoke with hung up on me rather than tell me the estimated time of arrival back to the distribution center. What has happened to Amazon's former stellar customer service?
