Designed by the original LOTR film artists using authentic film references, it captures Gollum’s twisted personality and iconic pose, making it a must-have for fans and collectors seeking a premium, display-ready piece from the award-winning trilogy. ## Description The Lord of the Rings trilogy won seventeen Academy Awards. Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films.Perfectly sized for easy display and ideal for any desktop or bookshelf, this Gollum miniature statue, digitally sculpted by Bawal Saggi, will make an excellent addition to your Weta Workshop miniatures collection. It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment, or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.A creature transformed through the power and influence of the One Ring, Gollum’s obsession and isolation left him a withered husk of his former self, resigned to the lonely fate of an outcast - his personality forever twisted.Although an unlikely travelling companion, Gollum leads Frodo and Sam through the backways and forgotten paths of Middle-earth, unseen by the eyes of Sauron. Under the guise of serving his new ‘master’, they elude the powers of Mordor, if only to be led toward territories of unknown and questionable danger. Servile in the face of his companions, the wretched creature schemes and plots in the shadows, to regain his lost treasure: his “Precious”.Features:Made from high quality polystoneApprox 3.5 inches tallDepicting the twisted, ring-corrupted personality of GollumResting amongst ruins within the Ithilien WoodsMade with reference to the original film scans and imagery“Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are designed by the very same artists who have worked on the three films, so effectively the come straight from Middle-earth”- Richard Taylor – CEO & Co-founder, Weta WorkshopAges 14-99Country of origin: China*Please note: Images are of a pre-production prototype.
