Q: Would this be strong enough to pump through a water purifier filter?

A good flow rate for clearance but no good foa filter system as it’s just a simple flap valve design

I use it to pump just over a metre. Probably need to keep a good pace but don't see why it wouldn't do 2 metres.

I used pond pump corrugated hose from my local aquatics centre, its tough and flexible and cost effective
