This is my first time buying the brand nanoskin. I detail all the cars in my family and use up prouduct fast so I buy them in bulk to save. I bought 4 gallons of nano skins products and was very exited to test them. First thing i noticed while opening them was that the seal looks like it has been broken and then heated up again to reseal. The seal looks melted and the cap also show signs of being melted. The color of all the liquids are also kinda off from the picture advertised. The smell is very intense. More importantly after testing it on a 2’ by ‘2’ hood of my car it failed to add any shine, cover minor scrapes, or have any water beading ability. Prouduct dose not work. I’m suspecting the fluid may have been swaped out at some point. I will return these and contact nano skin to investigate the matter.

I've been detailing, and I mean detailing, cars since high school. My own, neighbors and friends in high school and college, etc. So far, this spray is somewhat underwhelming to me. I followed the directions, and the shine is not as good as with other products. It's too early to tell about protection, so I'll have to update this review at a later date about that.Application is fairly straight forward. I applied it early morning, while it was cool and dry to a car I had just washed and had been recently clayed. It goes on easy and comes off easy, but I didn't notice a better shine. It is easier to apply than other products though.For me, I think I'll not be using this again.

Extremely impressed with the ability of this to take full paint and make it look like a mirror. The hydrophobic properties are amazing. It has been about 3 weeks of sun and occasional rain and the costing us still repelling dirty and water as good as day 1. Whether it will last years, I am a little skeptical, but it is not fair to judge without actually comparing that time period. This completely covered my 2024 Mazda CX-90. This is a full sized SUV. I still had remaining in the bottle so I covered the frame, tires, rims, headlights, and all the windows, too. This is a brand new car so the paint didn't really absorb any of it, it was a quick wipe on wipe off, then buff.

I'm not one of the types who pampers his car, washing and waxing it incessantly and stressing over every mark. My vehicle is a tool of travel for me and I treat it accordingly. Engine and drive-train maintenance are my priorities, so I can be fairly confident that my vehicle will not leave me stranded. However, I decided to give this coating spray a shot, just to breathe a little life back into my usually weathered car. After a thorough wash, I somewhat followed the instructions for applying this, though by the end I was just applying the spray to the cloth I was using, and using that to apply it to the car finish. Once a section was well treated, I'd go behind with another clean microfiber cloth to buff and shine that section. "Rinse and repeat" for the entire vehicle and I was done. I did touch up a few spots that needed extra attention, but that was it. I didn't spend more than 10 minutes (likely much less) applying this coating.The results were immediately impressive, but I would expect that from any product in the category, otherwise the consumer would immediately return it for a refund. The shine was extremely improved from before applying this product. Getting at an angle to catch a glare, I also noted the reduction of the 'micro scratches' in the finish that contribute to a reduced luster. In short, I was impressed with the substantial improvement of the finish, and running my hand along it, the finish felt buttery smooth. Even two weeks later, I can still feel the difference in the finish and see the improvement in repelling dirt.I was so impressed that I treated my mother's car the following weekend and she loved it. For such a low impact application, this simply can't be beat. I'm from the old school of using a clay wax buffing compound and tediously rubbing those tiny circles all over the car, then buffing it once dry (flashbacks to the original Karate Kid movie). This product gave visually comparable results with less than a tenth of the work. I'll absolutely replace this bottle once I get low. Totally worth the cost and I can't complain with the results.

I recently tried a ceramic shield car coating, and my experience falls somewhere in the middle, earning it a three-star rating. On the positive side, the coating did provide a noticeable shine to my car's finish, and it initially seemed to enhance the paint's protection against minor scratches and road debris. Water also beaded up nicely on the surface, which was a plus.However, the longevity of the coating was a bit disappointing. Over time, it seemed to wear off faster than expected, especially in areas exposed to harsh weather conditions. This required more frequent reapplications than I had anticipated, making it less convenient and cost-effective. Additionally, the application process was somewhat labor-intensive and required meticulous attention to detail, which might not be suitable for everyone.

But it did bring the black plastic parts back to life making them look like new. It was also great for making the dash and interior look like new. Price is great for this considering these started out in tiny bottles and would sell for upwards of $80.
