The media could not be loaded. This is so gorgeous! As I say in the video, I'll be the first to admit that I do not have cultural or spiritual significance attached to these beautiful peacocks. I simply ordered it because its beauty caught my eye. In my opinion it really is as beautiful in real life as in the ad pictures. I tried to get pictures and videos that show how much it sparkles and glitters, especially in the sunlight, but the iPad didn't cooperate. I did finally manage to get a video that showed at least some light dancing, but for your reference that's only a fraction of what it really looks like. The colors are vibrant and well balanced, the pieces fit together well, the decorations are glued on evenly and carefully and the entirety is a wonderfully eye-catching piece that I can't wait to hang. My current plans are to carefully glue it on to a piece of glass, so that I can move it around if I decide I want it somewhere else. I really, really, really like this. The entire work is about 12 inches tall at its largest and about 11 inches wide. It doesn't come with any instructions, so if you want to glance back to the ad to see how it fits together you can, but it's pretty self evident. There is non sticky paper backing cut to fit each individual piece. Said pieces are plastic, about 1/8th inch thick and the color is continuous. The decorations are I assume glued on, and are fastened evenly and well. As it is a handmade piece not everything is "machine even", especially the diamond stars / flowers, but to me that adds to the piece rather than taking away from it. They say it brings good luck, and I certainly hope so, because I honestly could use a little! I hope you have good luck just by reading this. :)

Its a very well made and beautiful acrylic rangoli! It fits like a puzzle and looks stunning! Highly recommend!
