Great creative toy
My daughter (9yrs) got this for Christmas and has so far used it only the once but the braid she made has been worn almost every day since. It is a bit fiddly to use but we quickly got the hang of it.The original one unfortunately did not work when we put the batteries in and it had a loose kind of rattle. I cannot fault Amazon for their efficiency in getting a replacement out to us within 4 days of completing the returns details on line, and this was on Boxing day.The only negative of this toy is that the hooks are bulky black things that really spoil the look of the finished article. I resorted to binding over the cord ends with contrasting coloured cord to make it look neater before attaching the braid to a fancy hair clip. It looks fab now.

DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY
This is the cheapest substandard piece of tat that I have ever bought. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR CHILDREN. came with all instructions in French (as luck has it I am able to translate) and the results are an absolute disgrace. DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY.

Useless unless you're French
Useless unless you're French... Entire box is in French so I presume instructions inside are also. Whilst the child I was going to give this to is very bright, I don't think her 8 yr old French is quite there yet! Disappointing as it could have been an ideal gift.
