Self clean feature broken
Hi, I'd love the heck out of this little simple hard floor cleaner, except it doesn't work properly. While it's OK for simple cleaning tasks, if you have a deeper cleaning need it won't even come close. Add to that the charging base is an extremely poor design. The self cleaning feature fails after a few times of it working due to the base having it's charging connectors in the wet area. The charge points become wet and start to corrode, which makes the device think the battery is bad. And it won't self clean on a bad battery. Very very poor design Hoover! The charge points should have been above the wet basin in the holder, maybe an inch or two above the basin and behind the device so inserting into the base would have been just as easy, but no risk of the contacts failing. Even now after a few months, the battery doesn't even charge any more in the base due to the contacts rusting over. While I still charge the battery on a seperate charger, and the device still does clean good enough for the couple times a week touch ups I do, I'll likely not return it, but I feel I should. And getting in touch with Hoover Support has been impossible so far. They don't answer e-mails or phone call messages. Needless to say, I'm not too happy with this little guy.

Game Changer
My floors have never been this clean and looked this nice. It is so easy to use. I have 2 houses with all hardware (no carpet) and I can't believe I never knew about this before. The machine does a Fantastic job but even more importantly is the ease and convenience. Update- roller stopped working after 3wks. Support unable to assist and wanted me to take to service center 1hr away so decided to return instead. Excitement turned to disappointment. Will definitely get another hard floor cleaner but now apprehensive about brand because should last longer than 3wks

Quit working after only a few uses. Was glitchy even when it did "work."
Absolutely awful. Hardly worked as advertised most of the time it was semi-functioning, and then completely quit functioning all together for no apparent reason. Has been collecting dust for nearly a year. The sensors are finicky and make the roller stop often, the roller never gets clean in the "self cleaning" storage bay, there was always water mess after running a self cleaning cycle. Overall it did clean the floor a few times, but for this cost it should be reliable, efficient, and last a long time. It is/was none of those things.

Trust me it’s worth reading
While the vacuum it’s a lot better than most of it’s competitors I have some complaints too say about it that need to be said. I never ever EVER care about reviews because some people think residential equipment can be used like it’s made for a construction site, but for one I’m currently on my 3rd floor cleaner through Hoover. I’ve had the same issue 3 TIMES where the roller will not spin after tilting the cleaner. Luckily I had got in contact through Hoover support through their website which I will say is amazing and they are very fast and easy too deal with, and fortunately had factory warrenty on it, I think it’s very sad that within 6 months I go through 3 cleaners for the same issue. After the first one crapped out on me I had followed the instructions too the tee and powered it on before tilting and didn’t select through mods too fast directly after turning it on. Thought after the first one the second one would last… well as of today I’m currently waiting on the 3rd one too show up. Another issue is it does not work well with uneven floors, you have to follow the grain of your tile (longways) if not it sounds like your rubbing sandpaper on your floor and it doesn’t clean well. Another issue is it randomly starts spitting dirty water during cleaning. While it has its issues and this will be my last time going through a warrenty claim I decided too do some research to find the (best selling) hard floor wet cleaner and so far almost every brand I’ve looked into falls into the same issues of “spits dirty water during cleaning” “leaves a puddle of water” “doesn’t clean well with only one brush” and many of the similar complaints I’ve just stated. I don’t ever use this product aggressively I always sweep my floors of any large objects pet hair and dirt. And after the second one came I treated it like a baby and it still failed. Unless you are wealthy enough to just keep purchasing another one or are an appliance technician that can detect the problem and constantly fix it I don’t think it’s a product worth buying.

Spaceship vacuum
This vacuum was a huge upgrade for my floor cleaning routine. It's easy to use and very modern feeling. The filling, assembly, emptying, and self cleaning all worked well and were intuitive. Battery life was just fine for cleaning about 1500 sq ft of wood floor, however for bigger messes or larger areas you may want a second battery. Also, I didn't really vacuum beforehand, but it did ok with pet and hair. Not amazing, I would recommend light vacuuming beforehand.

Broken/defective and never properly worked
I used the vacuum 3 times; it leaked dirty, recycled water back onto the floor that I had to wipe up after with a towel. I thought I must have been doing something wrong, but when preparing to use it again for the 4th time, the vacuum screen said “battery defective, contact support” so I did but also ordered a new $80 battery hoping that would fix the issue. Of course the new battery was also “defective”. I am waiting to hear back from Hoover support. Because these type of things never go well and never actually help out the customer, I have a hunch I wasted $500 on a vacuum that literally made my floors dirtier 🙃

Good if the battery doesn't fail
Failed battery with 6 months. I was very pleased with this until it stopped working. I thought there was a problem with the charging base which I thought with it being on the floor and having a dog may have been damaged on my end. (My dog is not a chewer and has not damaged anything in our home in 8 years, other than pulling on a rug a couple of times). I gave it the benefit of the doubt because it was top rated by consumer reports and had the Hoover name. I started to file information with Hoover but they asked me for information I didn't have. We put the item in the climate controlled garage and used our other cleaning methods we were using before we got this as a nicety. Out of sight, out of mind and I forgot to file a report. I saw the item and thought maybe I can just get a charger for the battery and it will be working again. Spent money on that. The charger showed it as a failed battery. Replacement battery is $80. I'm not throwing any more money away in this crap. A rechargeable battery should last longer than 6 months with moderate use. Definitely not worth the money.

Not a reliable product
It failed just like everyone else said it would! Battery failure after a few months, and issues with detection of solution in tank. When it finally died it just leaked the solution all over my floor overnight.

Broke first day
It stopped working the first day. Spent 2-3 hours with customer support, waiting for replacement part. Not impressed.

Avoid
The machine started out well . It did a decent job of washing our hardwood and tile flooring and the battery charge was sufficient. After about four month's use it stated to leak cleaning fluid while shut off then the leakage began to occur while washing leaving puddles on the floor. Hoover washed their hands of the whole thing because I purchased it on Amazon prime and I have been unable to get help through Amazon. There appears to be no warranty beyond the return date for this product. I would avoid buying this cleaner.

Beware—No Warranty from Hoover
Beware—No Warranty from Hoover I bought a Hoover cordless hard floor cleaner from this seller, and it arrived completely non-functional. Right out of the box, it displayed an error that the brushes weren’t rolling, making it unusable. I contacted Hoover to use the 3-year warranty, only to find out that this seller is NOT an authorized retailer, meaning no warranty coverage at all—despite the listing making it seem like it was included. When I reached out to the seller, they initially only offered me a partial refund, claiming it was an "open-box" item. After a lot of back and forth, and only after I filed an A-to-Z Guarantee claim with Amazon, they finally agreed to issue a full refund. I also had to push for a prepaid return label because I was NOT going to pay another $100 to ship it back. This was an expensive and frustrating experience. If you're considering buying from this seller, think twice—there's no Hoover warranty, and getting a refund is a hassle. Stick to authorized retailers to avoid the headache!
