Cork hit loads fir table
Much thinner than I expected, but they will work under runner as hot pad for hot food dishes that aren't too!!!!! Hot....

Ineffective placemats
These are way too flimsy to be placemats. They are like the backing of a placemat that needs to be glued to a hard placemat. They are very flexible, and I was wiping one off and the corner just broke off. They also absorb everything, so even cleaning them wasn’t completely effective.

Poor quality.
VERY thin and hard to clean. I was shaking them off gently in the sink and one ripped in half. I have only been using the placemats for 2 months and they have not been able to hold up. Poor quality.
