Works decently as a slow feeder. Does not take the 20 minutes it claimed for dog to eat. More like 5. (Which was still an improvement - my dog eats like a vacuum). My main complaint is that the inner bowl slips out of the base way too easily. Several times when I have gone to pick it up my fingers have tipped the inner bowl causing it to send dry food flying in every direction. Threw it away after 2 weeks and will buy a different brand.

The concept is good and I think it would have worked if the bone would stay in place but my dogs ears knock it off and there was not a piece that came with it to keep it in place. Maybe I was not sent all the parts. I am not sure because it came without any directions/diagram as well.

The bowl is two pieces and lightweight plastic. My dog constantly knocked the bowl out of the base twice ending up with the base around his body. It also did not seem to slow him down very much.

Didn't slow my dog down much. She was able to get her muzzle underneath and eat the food around the center.

top part comes out almost immediately with large and small dog

I have tried three other styles of slow feeder bowls, and this is by far the favorite. It was easy to assemble, can be used with dry food, wet food, or water since it doesn't leak, and is easy to clean. My dog is about 50 pounds and gets 1-2 cups of food. This bowl fits the perfect amount in it, and while it does slow my dog down, he has no trouble eat out of it. The other slow feeders made it too hard for him to get his food. I'll be getting more for my other dogs.

Great item to keep dogs from over eating by dividing it into 4 areas. Average size bowl for an average size dog. Definitely would recommend.
