Separated chronologically in order of years released, from 1983 to 1997's Machine Wars just after Beast Wars. The author also describes a good amount of detail on most pages with paragraphs accompanying the photos taken.The packaging shown in this book was the main selling point for me when buying this mid-range priced Collector's book, as a big fan of the art and packaging of Transformers figures and vehicles over the years. While not every figure's packaging is featured, a large percentage of packaging is shown, intact and in great shape in a reasonable size to appreciate each detail. The figures are shown in robot mode mostly, separated in small photograph boxes.As far as design, the book is fairly basic, with simple photographs of figures and packaging, but fun to read. Images aren't fancy in design, sometimes low contrast, but still nice to see a good range of Transformers within their original packaging.
