The Spectacular Lives of Sharks Hardcover – Picture Book, 18 July 2022

Purchased this for my 4 year old son who is absolutely obsessed with all things Shark.The illustrations are beautiful, and the book itself is full of plenty of facts and information. My son likes to read through this book every single night, has taken it to school to show off, and has learnt so much about Sharks from it.

My 4 year old is obsessed with animals - sharks, reptiles and bugs are his absolute favourite so we bought a few different new books. It’s always a bit of a gamble with Amazon because you can’t really view the content before it arrives. This one is beautiful illustrated throughout and full of shark facts. He loves it and we have to read it every single night. I know so much about sharks now, and so does my 4 year old haha.

It's so nice and has a description page about a few key sharks including the wobbegong ! As well as pages on their reputation, biology and conservation:) really colourful, pretty illustrations

This is a highly comprehensive book on sharks, many of which were new to me, is packed full of information and fascinating snippets without ever feeling overwhelming. Rose does an outstanding job of capturing the character of a host of different sharks, even glow-in-the-dark ones and their background aquatic creatures. Both the typography and illustration are delightful, and the whole book has a feeling of luxury and quality. This book comes out at a time when we need to celebrate and understand the worlds of our fellow creatures to preserve them for future generations, and this book serves as a fabulous introduction to the world of sharks!
