I like the soft touch material on them, it makes them more comfortable to wear and the thicker foam cups your ear better. It also increases the pressure on the grip around your ear which I find is better than the original. Fitting the ear cups was easy, there is a small cut out in the rim of the headphones that you can feed the ear cup band at the rear of the ear cup into the cut out and then rotate the ear cup to feed the band onto the rim of the headphones to secure them in place.
